Who could use a little bit of extra money this week? I know I can. Between taxes, bills and the kids being home for Spring Break this has been a rough month. Luckily I know that there are some ways for me to find some extra cash, it’s just a matter of doing it.
Now that it’s officially spring we can look to brightening up our yards and add some color with spring flowers. Often times you think you should wait until after the first frost, but that’s not necessarily the case with flowers. There are a few different spring flowers that you can plant right now and enjoy the colors until it gets warmer.

I’m excited for the beautiful weather we’ve been having and the smell of spring in the air. But with that also means that the yard work is picking up and the flower beds need some attention. Get a head start on your flower beds and lawn care with these few things you can do right now!

Do you feel like you smile enough? Have you ever really even thought about it? The fact of the matter is, there is much more to smiling than just seeing something cute or funny. There are countless benefits, both health and otherwise that you should smile more often. We are going to focus on just a few of those.

Do you find yourself cutting back on date nights with your sweetheart because of budget issues? I get it. My husband and I went to dinner recently and decided to forget all about our budget and before we know it, we were looking at a $65 check to pay. That was hard to swallow. Will we do that again? Unlikely, but we are in no way going to slow down on our date nights!
If your kids are like mine then it’s SUPER hard to get them to eat their vegetables and greens. They are pretty good with fruits. However, beans, peas, cauliflower, carrots, or any food that resembles vegetables will start a fight. That’s when I decided that I had to be smarter then them. It was time to start sneaking it in!! I was starting to include vegetables into their meatloaf, drinks and even brownies! That way I can feel a little better that they are indeed getting their vegetables. The best way to get down a lot of greens is with smoothies. It’s easy, yummy and refreshing. Here are a few my kids enjoy:

Spring is here, Spring is here, Spring is here!!!! Okay, so it’s not quite here yet, but it’s so close and I have seen the sunshine a couple of times! I am so ready to enjoy it! That has me thinking that I am ready to start having some fun, springtime dates with my man!!

How is the weather where you are? We are still relatively cool with some yucky dreary, dark rain, but we did have one nice day last week and it has got me in Spring mode!!!
