Each year, I like to remind people what a good “buy” price for Halloween Candy is. With the inflation we have seen this past year, I would tell you that $2.00 or lower per Fun Size Bag of Candy is a good price. (Fun Size Bags are around 9-12 ounces.) If you can get even lower than $2.00 per bag, you have definitely hit the jackpot and I would encourage you to purchase as much as you can afford. (I personally like to shoot for $1.50 or lower per fun-size bag)
Do you like to purchase Bigger Bags of Candy?? Try to get around $.18 per Ounce! Just grab your Cell Phone, pull up the Calculator and do a little math. I’ve seen a lot of bags go on sale for this price. So be watching!

Turn Your Halloween Candy in for Money
Just like last year, many dentists are participating in the Halloween Candy BuyBack across the country. Instead of having your kids eat all of that candy they get on Halloween night, you can actually take it in to participating dentists and get money!
The Dentists participating in the Halloween Candy BuyBack will actually send your Candy to Operation Gratitude or other Military operations who will then send it out to Military troops in harm’s way! I’m sure they love getting some Halloween Candy!
So check your zipcode to see what your Dentist Office will give you for your candy! **If your Dentist isn’t on the participating list, you might want to give them a call and see if they are doing anything similar. You never know!

Smiths has had a deal that is $4 off 4 bags of candy. It has made for a killer deal when you pair it with coupons. I have gotten most of my bags of candy for between $1 and $1.50

At Walgreens, don’t forget to redeem your points (I don’t know the official name off the top of my head.) I always thought you had to reach a certain amount of points before they’d let you redeem them, but that’s not true. I redeemed 3000 the other day to get $3.00 off. Another great way to save $$!
