Okay, so I know that with the recent situation, many of us have been making coffee at home since we have been unable to go to coffee shops. If this has been a struggle for you, not to worry, I can help you learn how to make a delicious cup of coffee at home!Â
Did you know that a cup of coffee brewed at home will cost you just $0.50 or less each? That includes the cost of cream, sugar, etc. I am a boring coffee drinker myself, so my coffee shop coffee tends to be less than $2 per cup anyway, but even at that, I am saving almost $1.50 each time I get a cup of coffee. Now, I can handle those kinds of savings! So, just in case there is any question, yes, you can save money and make your own delicious coffee at home with these tips.
Make Your Own Delicious Coffee at Home with These Tips
Buy Good Coffee Beans
What is your favorite type of coffee? I love Starbucks’ Blonde Roast. To enjoy my home brewed coffee the most, I like to buy the coffee beans that match the ones I like in the coffee shop. Yes, it’s more expensive than store bought, but it is still cheaper than in shop coffee!
Of course, you will also need to have a grinder at home, but these are very cost effective as is and will save you money over the course of its use.
Invest in a French Press
If you haven’t yet used a French Press for your coffee, you are in for a treat! You can pick one up for around $20 and boy oh boy does it add flavor to your coffee! This is definitely one of the things that I am happy to own.Â
Keep in mind though, that more work is involved in making coffee like this, so if you don’t think you will take the time to make it, try to borrow a french press, or check out a thrift shop for one.Â
Use Your Favorite Cup
Some of you may be rolling your eyes at me right now, but for me, using my favorite cup always makes my coffee taste better.Â
