I’m going to be putting together more quick little “How-To” Videos for you guys! Hope you are as excited as I am! This time, I’m sharing a quick little video on How to Get Breakfast Cereal for only $.99 a Box!
Videos just work so much easier for busy Moms because you can listen while you are making dinner, picking up or doing other things around the house. You can even watch a quick video on your phone when you are out running errands, waiting for school pickup or sitting at the doctor’s office. With blog posts, you have to be 100% attentive and sit down and read. So I’m hoping videos will make things easier for you guys to save some money!

I’ve seen similar sales on General Mills & Kellogg’s too! I think the trick is to watch the weekly ads. Some of the more healthy cereals are harder to find deals on… so that is when a printable coupon comes in handy to help drop the price. 🙂

Videos are great but sometimes I need to be quite and can’t listen to one. Is it possible for you to post a transcript of your videos somewhere? While feeding the baby if I have any noise going she wants to focus on that…but I can read it and she leaves it alone 😉

Thanks for the video! My favorite cereal is Quaker Ohs, but there are never sales or coupons for them so I hardly ever buy them. Like you, I only buy cereal when it’s super cheap because we go through it so fast. I always have a stockpile in my cold storage room and replenish it when there are great sales. At my local Dicks market this last week, they had GM cereals for 1.49 when you buy 8. But you also got a gallon of milk free when you buy 8. Combine the free milk and coupons on top of 1.49 cereals, and it was a super great deal at .75-.99 a box (plus free milk).

If I pay attention to Savings Star when they feature Cheerios ( anywhere from .50 to $1.00) and Food Lion puts on sale 2/$4, and with coupon $1 off 2 or $1.50 off 3 can stock up for anywhere from .50 to $100 for the large boxes. Cheerios can be used to make homemade cereal bars that are simple to make, delicious and when cereal so inexpensive, no need to buy snack bars.
