Want to save on household items or groceries but don’t want to clip coupons? Don’t forget that Amazon has coupons too! There are pages and pages of them. And if you use them right, you can save a ton of money when Amazon drops their prices.
3 Ways to Use Amazon Coupons to Save More Money:
1- Most of the time, Amazon Coupons will be valid on a bunch of different sizes of the same product. Make sure you take the time to check all of the sizes that will allow you to use the coupon and find the lowest overall price first. Then, use that coupon to save more money on top of the deal.
2- Use Amazon Coupons on top of Subscribe and Save Deals. Sometimes when you go to purchase Toilet Paper, Grocery items or Vitamins, you will see an option to add items to your cart using Subscribe and Save. That price is always lower than purchasing the item with the regular option. And you can layer any coupons you have clipped on top of that super low price! If you are unfamiliar with Subscribe and Save, you can head here to learn a little more about it.
On top of the Subscribe and Save option and the coupon you have clipped, you can also add 5 or more items to your Subscribe and Save shipment each month and actually get an extra 20% off all of it! Details here on that, if you aren’t already taking advantage of it!
And the last benefit? Everyone gets their orders shipped free with Subscribe and Save! The only downside is that shipments come once a month. (You can see your date under the option to add the items to your cart via S&S.) If you need something faster than that, you might want to use the regular price so it can ship right away.
3- If you have Amazon Prime, or start a FREE 30 Day Trial of Amazon Prime, any order you place will ship FREE with 2-day shipping! That with the added coupon should save you money–and any gas you might use heading to the store to buy the same thing.
If you don’t have Amazon Prime, try to purchase all of your Amazon orders with a total of $35 or more. Any total over $35 will get shipped free as well. If you can combine items to hit that price, you should save a bunch on shipping fees. (However, sometimes the deals don’t last long enough for you to wait….which is why I tell people they should start their FREE 30-Day Trial of Amazon Prime in November so they can use it for all of their Holiday shopping!)
TIPS to using Amazon Coupons:
- Only use the Amazon Coupons on items that have been marked down or are on sale. Using a coupon on a full-price item won’t save you more than heading to the store.
- Make sure you bookmark or favorite THIS AMAZON COUPON PAGE. It’s a way to see all of the coupons in one place–and to see when new ones have been added.
- We will also see Toy, Game and Electronics coupons come out in full force the closer we get to the holidays. There is nothing like a marked down toy, coupon and FREE shipping to help you save on Christmas gifts!

Do they ever reset the coupons or anything? I see you post deals for things like cottonelle toilet paper that include a coupon, but when I try to clip it, it says that I cannot use the coupon because I have already used it but I haven’t been able to use a coupon on cottonelle for at least a year now. I have had this come up on other products as well but the toilet paper is the one that comes up the most. Have you run into this before?
