When we first released the prices for our Discounted Group Trip to Walt Disney World, we were going off of prices for past years because Disney had not released current 2015 pricing yet. Well, they have and it turns out the prices we have for our trip are even cheaper than we originally thought!! We are saving even more money! And a reminder for all of you who are on the fence about coming on this trip. These hotels (even the most expensive one) is a cheaper and a better overall deal than staying at the Grand California Hotel at Disneyland!! So we really are super lucky with this deal Get Away Today scored for us.
I know that airfare is a concern for a lot of you. But since Get Away Today will let you do a Layaway Plan for Free and make monthly payments, hopefully you can make the trip work within your budget and be on the lookout for an airfare deal to grab when it pops up. (For Utah readers, Jet Blue is flying non stop from SLC to ORLANDO for as low as $119 each way! So you can grab similar flights.) It’s finally time! I know for years we have been talking about doing a group trip to Disney World. We did the group trip to Disneyland last year (it was a blast!) and we are doing it this year at the end of September for Halloweentime. BUT… now it’s time to finally go on a trip to Disney World! **I know that staying at one of the Disney Resorts is a pricier option. But if you can make it work, I would really recommend that you do it! The convenience and the extras they throw in to make your vacation more enjoyable is really worth it. Plus you get SO much more time in the park before it gets crazy! ****AIRFARE QUESTIONS: I know a lot of you are concerned about Airfare. Airfare is not included in any of these deals. And for all my Utah readers, Jet Blue is starting non-stop flights from SLC to Orlando in November and will be flying our dates. They are as low as $119- $139 each way!! I’m surprised Get Away Today doesn’t have a better hotel option for larger families. I know there are several with free shuttles to the parks and I would opt for one of those-four dollars per person per day adds up quickly.

My daughter is 2 and won’t be 3 until end of April. Would she still be free ? Those who have gone before how do you prove this ? Birth certificate?

I would be interested in what they say as to what proof you need for your daughter’s age. If you need a birth certificate, we just went thru some health insurance mess, we had to supply birth certificates, and Marriage certificates. So we showed them the originals, no, that is not good enough. We had to get certified copies. YEP! So now we have certified originals. I am sure you will not have to do this but I am giving everyone a HEAD’S UP in case anyone needs to do this.

I called getaway they were super nice. She said they might ask you about your child’s age to prove they are free but probably won’t ask for a birth certificate at all. Melia she said we couldn’t get the $50 gift card because he have to book by end of July and she even checked with her boss but they didn’t hear anything about it actually being the end of August get the free $50 Disney gift card.

I was looking at flight prices today. I know it might be a little early, but kayak.com came up with a red-eye jetblue flight that was $215/per person. That was roundtrip, nonstop from 11pm-6am. Is that a good deal?? I am a novice at shopping for flights, but that looks a little better than the $119 one-way mentioned in the post. I am shopping for a family of 4, so every dollar counts when it comes to savings! Thanks for putting this package together!
