Last year in September, we put together a fun discounted trip to Disneyland during Halloweentime. It was SO much fun! And there were so many Freebies2Deals families that were able to come. If you missed that post, or weren’t a reader at that time, I worked with GetAwayToday to get exclusive rates and deals for us. We even had different options for every budget! (You can see the details of what we did last year right HERE to get an idea.)
It went so well last year that we are going to do it again!! But, we have to make sure that we have enough interest.
I am planning on doing our Group Disneyland Trip during Halloweentime again….and it will probably be the last week of September or somewhere around there. That way, we won’t run into any UEA crowds.
***Are you interested in possibly bringing your family with us to Disneyland?? We will probably do a Character Dining all together. But, you are free to roam and do whatever you want the rest of the time you are there. I don’t want to hold you back from all the fun you will be having.

I had a lot of you last year state that you would love to do a discounted group deal to Disney World. And, that sounds like a lot of fun to me! GetAwayToday is game if we can get enough people to do it to get the discount where it needs to be! So that is where you come in.
The month we would go to Disney World is still up in the air. But, I personally am hoping to plan it when the crowds are low and the weather isn’t too hot and muggy. (Honestly, I would love to go to Disney World early spring before Spring Break.. it’s one of the cheapest times and best time for crowds……but that might not be doable for a lot of you. So, tell me what you think in the comments.)

**Oh by the way, GetAwayToday does do a monthly payment plan. So if you want to come in September to Disneyland, you can split up the cost of your trip over 8 months. It makes it doable for just about any budget!

Here’s a GREAT tip: if you have a local travel agent, go through them! Our local travel agent will always BEAT Getaway Today. They generally have the same specials (since these specials are often through Disney and not exclusive to Get Away Today) but will beat it by a few bucks to encourage people to buy local.

We went that time frame last year and are doing it again this year. Most of the spring break crowd should be done by then. We always go with a plan and take advantage of rope drop and haven’t had a problem.

We took our daughter when she was about 14 months. She had a blast!! Plus we had lots of family to watch her if we wanted to go on the big rides. In California Advetnure, there’s “A Bug’s Life” land that is so great for little ones. One thing that totally helped was having a hotel close to the park where we could take our daughter and put her down for a nap then come back to the park when she was done napping. It made the trip more enjoyable for everyone!

We just took our 3 year old and 1 year old for Christmas and they both loved it, even though it was crazy busy! My 3 year old brings up disneyland everyday still and that he wants to go back,and everything he wants to do again. He is on the taller side so he got to ride mostly everything he wanted, I’d look up the height requirements to make sure you little one would be able to ride the rides.

we are VERY interested in Disneyland, how ever we are NERVOUS about going in Sept. The last 2 years that we have gone in mid- to late Sept they have had record breaking heat. I am talking like 106- 113 degrees, which made it pretty much miserable!!! We swore we would never go in Sept again. Ha ha LOl. They also cancelled a lot of the parades and didn’t have near as many characters out do to the fact that they were getting heat stroke. Is there anyway you would consider doing the first few weeks in October?? I know you have loved it then and it sounds like the heat hasn’t been a problem.

Either one! My toddler is IN LOVE with Minnie Mouse right now so it would be so much fun. We’ve never been to Disney World and my Sister in law is getting married in Feb. and moving to Florida. An even better excuse to go and visit her while we’re there!! Truly, either is fine. Maybe the first week of APril (that’s our SPring break) but it could possibly work earlier. I would just have to get a substitute for the days we are gone.

We did disneyworld in november, and it was perfect weather! Not so crowded, and beautifully decorated for christmas. Also, if going to florida go to gatorland! I have a picture of my boys sitting on a six foot gator with his mouth taped shut. The workers there are very well trained and do fun shows and it is really a highlight and must!!

This sounds amazing! Any time during the summer, or during holiday break times, I.e. spring break, fall break, Christmas break, which are usually the week of the holiday or following it. We just got back from Disney World. We went December 8th -December 13th. The crowds were minimal, weather great!! They had just come off of their Thanksgiving day crowds and were hitting their low before Christmas it was GREAT!!

Hi Mindy, you don’t have to pay for children until they turn 3. And, by the way, I took my little boy right after he turned one and it was a blast! He was at a perfect age where he wasn’t too big of a handful yet, but was old enough to really get a kick out of the rides and all the lights and everything. Sounds like such a fun time to go for your family.

I am VERY VERY interested, but would LOVE a 3-night 3-day park hopper option. The discounted prices from last year were still just a little too high for our family, but we might be able to pull it off if it’s a little shorter of a trip.

My family is VERY interested in Disneyland in the Fall. And I also have two other couples who want to join in too. So count us in for 6 adults and 2 kids. I agree with some of the other people who commented above that it might be more do-able if it were 3 day park hoppers and 4 nights in a hotel instead of the 5 day. But we want to make it work either way! When do you think you will have the details on the deal up?
