For everyone who is new to Freebies2Deals, all of you absolutely need to sign up for Swagbucks. Instead of using Google to search, use their search engine and you will randomly get rewarded points (called Swagbucks). You can collect these Swagbucks and redeem them for free things like Amazon Gift Cards. And yes, this is totally legit!! Myself and other Freebies2Deals readers have earned tons of Free Gift Cards!

I think these little tips are so helpful to newbies! So much so that I wrote my own blog post about it haha.
One thing I do is I changed all default search on on the computers in my house to Swagbucks. So everyone is automatically “forced” to use it 🙂

I do the same thing as Brittany by changing all default search engines to Swagbucks. I also have the video app on my phone. You can earn bucks through watching videos on your phone as well as watching them on your computer.

Make sure you take advantage of the “NOSO” each day, just skip through the ads and at the end you get 2 swagbucks. You also get 1 swagbuck just for taking the daily survey. I do the surveys and try to get at least the minimum goal each day and on average earn at least 1 $50 gift card a month.

I’m a newbie to Swagbucks. You earn swagbucks when you search things right? Do you only earn the bucks when you search things if you have the toolbar? I have a mac and it says the toolbar isn’t supported on macs

I do not download the toolbar because a lot of viruses come through using it. I do surveys, encraves, searches, 10 points from games each day. Make sure you make your first goal each day because you get a huge deposit of swagbucks if you meet goal day after day. The bonus swagbucks deposit the 5th of the following month. I found it easiest to develop a routine and quickly meet your first goal and then move on with your day. Have fun it gets addicting after you earn your first gift card lol. I paid for my families whole Christmas and have only been doing it since June!

When I search for something and I don’t get points, I click on the link at the top of the search that says “Did you mean…” It searches for the same thing just different spelling or whatever but I have gotten quick points just from that. And filling out the survey profile gave me quite a few points this last month.

I mostly just earn Swagbucks by searching through the search engine. However, I did have a couple of people join Swagbucks through my referral and that made my Swagbucks add up fast because you get Swagbucks every time the person you referred does. It’s definitely worth it!

I usually just use the search engine, but my biggest bunch of swagbucks came when I shopped on Hotels.com through Swagbucks and booked our hotel for a three night stay last June. I got almost 3,000 swagbucks!!! I had actually forgotten that I had done that, and one day when my account said I had over 3,000 swagbucks, I thought it was a mistake – but it wasn’t !!!!!!

The little thing add up, like the searches, the NOSO and the polls however I typically do 2-5 surveys a day and regularly am over 200 swagbucks in a day. The special offers are great as well if you find cheap ones or free ones. I haven’t had too much luck reffering others.

I like to shop through Swagbucks. I compare it’s “cash back” rate to other sites and if it’s the highest, I use it. I also like to use the search engine and I always try to print my coupons through Swagbucks. I personally think the surveys take too much time.

The Daily Goal is just a number of Swagbucks that the site is challenging you to try to get on that particular day. If you reach or exceed that goal, you will get an extra 10% of the goal amount, which is the SB Bonus.

After selecting my home page that I prefer, I do a search for that page. I then use the search page as my home page. Each time I open up my browser, I do a search.
Do the videos… I’m bandwidth limited, so I can only do my videos after midnight.

I did a lot of online shopping for Christmas this year and earned a ton of swag bucks by going to the stores website through a swag bucks search. I was shopping anyways, might as well earn some swag bucks! Also, thank you for these tips. I needed to book a vacation hotel today and read the tips first and just earned another 1000 swag bucks for a little 3 night stay I had to book anyway. By the way, Melea, YOU ROCK! I put the swagbuck app on my android and let the comedy videos run. Some days it doesn’t freeze and I get an easy 50 swagbucks. If the videos freeze then I give it a break and try again later or another day. I also put entertainnow app on android and run the trailer videos. They are longer so it takes longer to earn but better than nothing. I also look for the two swagbuck videos on homepage and do those, I also check for videos that come to the swagbucks inbox in the top right of swagbucks homepage. I also keep an I out for the guy with the laptop on homepage and click on him and it will be videos or other things for 2 swagbicks. Along with games I get about 70 to 80 swagbuks a day.
