As most of you know, we have started a tradition here at Freebies2Deals to always give back during the Holidays. We get such great deals throughout the year, and save our families a ton of money. But, there are so many families out there that are seriously struggling. I am always SO amazed by all of your generosity and what we are able to accomplish with our Secret Santa Projects!
In 2010, we donated full Christmases to 25 needy families! I did a video of that adventure here, if you haven’t seen it.
In 2011, we donated a bunch of toys to The Primary Children’s Medical Center to their Children’s Cancer Unit. Here is a video, if you missed it.
In 2012, we donated tons of Coats and Warm items to the Utah Youth Village. And, we donated food, toys and more to the families staying at The Ronald McDonald house. You can watch the video here.
Around June, I started collecting toys and other gifts for this year’s Secret Santa Project. So I have an awesome supply of gifts to give to those in need- all in behalf of the Freebies2Deals readers! But, I’ve run into some issues. In October, we made the decision to move after a lot of thinking and prayer. We put our house on the market, sold and now we are in the process of moving!! It’s happened so fast and I just couldn’t possibly think of a way to collect all of your donated items in the middle of us packing and trying to keep our home immaculate for house showings. So, this year, I don’t think we will be able to combine efforts and do a F2D Secret Santa Project.
HOWEVER, I do have all of those items I have collected and will be donating them to different organizations who need them. So, I do promise to do a video of that and post it for all of you! Even though you didn’t physically donate, you helped just by being an F2D Reader. (More to come on that in the video!)
If you were planning on donating to the F2D Secret Santa Project this year, please still donate to another reputable company instead. And since we will be all moved and totally settled by next Christmas, we will definitely do our regular Secret Santa Project from here on out!

I think you are amazing with what you have done so far! My family loves to do secret Santa projects! I wouldn’t mind collecting everything in my garage in Bountiful UT if you still wanted to do something. Then we could maybe get together one day and go through it all! Also my dad does Santa. He usually delivers the presents from our family in years past. Just a thought!

Oh Nikita! I would love your help next year. Can we plan on it? I just can’t possibly add in all of the Secret Santa stuff this year with all of the deal posting, packing up my house and moving. It’s just the worst timing ever. But, next year- for sure!
