  1. I used mine for $100 to Babies R Us! Helped out a lot for a stroller for my baby on the way. And i’ve already earned enough for another $30 dollars, but I think I’ll keep on building… 🙂

  4. In 5 months I have earned $110 to Starbucks and $50 to Target. I am now just under 400 points away for another $50. Not sure what I will use it for yet. I have a few choices, Red Robin, Chili’s, Paypal or Target.

I have earned a lot of points from surveys, although they are very time consuming. An easy fast way to earn a lot of points is by signing up for free trials. They usually offer 200 to 1000 points for free trials and the the free trial can last any where from 7 – 30 days. I am very organized and good about cancelling my free trials before the trial date ends. If you do not cancel in time your credit card will be charged.

I am a huge fan of Swagbucks!

  7. May I ask how you earn such large amounts of swagbucks? I’ve been a member for a couple of months and have only 185 points. I downloaded the toolbar, use their search engine. Have played a couple of games too but can’t spend much time watching videos and playing games for just a couple of bucks. Are your balances large from so many referals? Thanks for any insight and tips.

    • I don’t waste my time with the surveys because it seems like I get 20 mins. into them and it says I’m not qualified for the survey…so frustrating. I do the daily poll and NOSO (no obligation special offers) every day and always use the search. Also the ten swagbucks for every coupon you redeem gets me a lot pretty quickly, as well as the shop and earn. I maybe get 30 or so swagbucks a day on average, but $100 at the end of the year for things I’m doing anyway is a pretty good deal for me. 🙂 Hope that helps.

    • I get the most from searches. Sometimes they put out codes that are worth around 5.

  8. I love getting the $5 amazon gift cards. To answer the above question on font spent a lot of time on swag bucks (just don’t have a lot of time) but I get a lot of my swag bucks from surveys, shop & earn, and printing and using the coupons.

  9. I’m all about the $5 increments from Amazon too. Right before Xmas they were only 450 points (not sure if they’re always that cheap?) so I was able to stock up on a bunch. It’s just so easy and credits to my Amazon acct and off we go! I love it…but definitely need to work on getting more points thru other methods this year because they seem to be a little more stingy with their search engine swagbucks lately. ðŸ™

  10. Thanks for everyone’s tips. What is your favorite way to earn a lot of points? (I can always use many tips) I don’t want to spend all day on swagbucks trying to earn a few.

  11. I just started a month or two ago. I have enough for a $5 card, but I am saving up for the southwest gift card, as we are flying with the family to Florida next year and then with my husband and I again a few months after that. Any help with airfare would be great. I did sign up for an offer that gave me 450 points and never got them, so I emailed them and within 1-2 days they emailed me back and gave me my points. I was very happy they looked into it so fast. I do searches every day and have done an offer or two. I need to get my bucks up more by doing more stuff.

  14. I have been doing swagbucks about 1 year. In the beginning I didn’t do much, but then I saw blogs keep posting about how great it was. I am proud to say I have earned over $55 in amazon gift cards. I like to buy my toilet paper and paper towels in bulk from Amazon. And I still have much more to redeem!

  16. Amazon is the best way to go you can get $5 for 450 swagbucks! Awesome, all the other ones are 500 swagbucks or more and the silly things is a $25 Amazon is 2500 why wouldn’t you just get 5 $5 for 2250, that’s 250 cheaper! I mean yeah you are limited to 2 a day and 5 a month but to me it’s totally worth it to me. And Amazon doesn’t have a limit on how many you can use! WAAAWHHHOOOOOO!

  17. Be careful and do not let your points sit in your account. A year ago I was saving points and had enough for $50 to amazon and my account was deactivated because they said I was doing illegal searches. I don’t even know how to do illegal searches and I lost all my points and I still can’t open a new account!

  18. I always get the $5 Amazon gift cards! I usually get 2 or 4 at a time and go ahead and add the cards to my amazon account so it’s there and ready to use toward my next purchase. I love free money! 🙂

    • They will let you use 3 gift cards per flight. So if you break them up into one way flight purchases, you can get the most for your gift cards.

      • Thanks for the info Melea!!! I’m excited to see what I can earn. Have you earned any of the Marriott gift cards? Are they the same as Southwest 3 per stay?

  20. Over the past year I have redeemed for $5 Amazon cards and buy the things I wouldn’t normally want to spend my money on. I have redeemed for a little over $100 and still have over 4,000 Swagbucks. If you haven’t signed up yet, use the referral link provided on this site because she will get credit for referring you! Outstanding deal!

    • Like most people I like the amazon gift card for 450 points. That is even cheaper to get stuff rather than using your credit card points. It usually cost thousands of points for something you could buy yourself for $50 dollars or less. Can you use your amazon gift cards on Amazon local deals? This would be a great way to cheap, fun, activities. Does anyone know where I can get a discounted Chevron gas card that is in stock?

      Thanks.
