For everyone who is new to Freebies2Deals, all of you absolutely need to sign up for Swagbucks. Instead of using Google to search, use their search engine and you will randomly get rewarded points (called Swagbucks).  You can collect these Swagbucks and redeem them for free things like Amazon Gift Cards.  And yes, this is totally legit!!  Myself and other Freebies2Deals readers have earned tons of Free Gift Cards!

I even know people who work all year long to earn enough free Amazon Gift Cards to pay for Christmas.  So,  you will definitely want to get signed up for Swagbucks now and start working on it for this year!  Can you imagine not having to pay a dime for Christmas at the end of the year?  Now that would be cool!

Just head over to Swagbucks and get signed up.

People always ask me how to earn points other than searching.  You can do a number of things like taking free surveys, or referring your friends to start using Swagbucks too.  For those who have been doing Swagbucks for a while, and have earned a lot of points, what do you do to earn the most??  I’m sure newbies would love to hear your ideas!

  1. I would love ideas on how people get alot of points. I admit I am not the best person at using it all the time as a search engine. I feel like when I do use it I don’t get points all that often. Then I have watched the ads that they have, but you spend a half hour and get like 10 points?? I have been doing / using it for 2 or 3 years now and have only gotten enough for a $20 gift card.
Would love suggestions and tips, because I know others use it and get mego points and pay for Christmas with their points. How cool would that be?!?
    Thanks!

  2. @Janet, I understand your frustration. I have found that every time I want to go to another web page instead of using a bookmark I use the swag bucks search and I get points more often. Watching the videos and doing the survey’s (but lately I don’t get past the qualifying which is becoming very annoying) is another way. I used to purchase the items they sold that I was interested in but then I wouldn’t get my points and after months of emailing them the info they requested to get my points I have given up. I still use the site but stick to the video watching and web searching for points and it does take a couple of months of daily use to get to 2500 points and every so often I do get lucky and get a lot of points when searching but you do have to be vigilant to make it worth while.

  3. I do the poll everyday to get 1 buck.

Yesterday I discovered NOSO (no obligation special offers). You get a couple bucks for just viewing the offers. There are about 5 and it only takes like 1 minute to see them all. There is a button at the bottom of each offer to skip to the next offer. When you see them all it automatically gives you 2 bucks.

If I’m going to be on the computer for a little while anyway, I will do the videos to get 3 bucks. I usually don’t even watch them. I just play a video and then look at something else on another tab. There are different categories so it’s easy to find a video you could be interested in. I like to watch the entertainment ones (movie trailers and interviews). You have to get through several videos to get the pay off.

  4. I have been doing swagbucks for a year now and love it. I shop online frequently for birthdays, holidays, weddings, etc and ALWAYS shop through swagbucks. During the holidays they had a lot of promotions for double swagbucks for shopping online and I earned $40 in amazon gift cards, JUST for doing the normal shopping I wouldve already been doing. I also do the surveys. I try and find the ones that take the least amount of time for the most amount. Somedays I only qualify for one, others 4 or 5! Keep trying, its worth it!

  5. Hopefully you have the toolbar. That way it is easy to remember to search through them. I also shop through them and have gotten many swag bucks at stores I would have shopped at anyway just by going through their website first through the shop and earn tab (however, I usually compare to ebates and decide which one will give me the bigger bang for my buck!). Just recently on the new toolbar that download on my computer, there is a “Check for Swag Code” box. Everytime I get on the internet, I click that button. It will tell me if there are any swag codes to enter from the blog, the homepage, etc, or it will tell me none are available. I have been getting between 10-20 extra points a day just by clicking that button.

Finally, whenever I print coupons from coupons.com, I print them through swagbucks. That way, I earn 10 swagbucks everytime I redeem one. They add up fast that way, too!
