So I have been talking and talking about Swagbucks throughout the year.  If you have them stashed up, it is time to start redeeming them for the Gift Cards that you want.  You will have them in time to use on all your Christmas Shopping!! YAY!

Another fun update: Swagbucks no longer has a Monthly limit.  That means, you can redeem as many of the same gift card that you want each month.  However, you are limited to two a day.  So say you wanted to redeem a bunch of $5.00 Gift Cards.  Normally you could only redeem 5 each month.  Now, you can redeem as many as you want.  Now that is cool!  And, it should help you get all of your Swagbucks gift cards a lot faster.  (The only exception to this is the $5 Amazon Gift Cards)

And another cool thing?  Starting Today, November 1st, Swagbucks is slashing the number of Swagbucks it takes to redeem them for gift cards!  (with the exception of Amazon Gift Cards)

So start redeeming and make Christmas a little easier on yourself!  One of my favorite Gift Cards that Swagbucks offers??  Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic Gift Cards!  They can be used WITH any online or in-store coupons so you can save a lot!

***Still not signed up for Swagbucks??  Make sure you do!! There is still time to get some Free Gift Cards before Christmas!!  If you want more details on Swagbucks, you can read my previous post on it here.

    • The way I read it is that with the new changes you can get as many $5 GC as you have the swag bucks for!

  3. I found swagbucks to be a terrible waste of my time. I can make more money doing much easier things.

  4. When redeeming swag bucks for gift cards do they send an actual gift card so you can give them as gifts or is it just a piece of paper or a code they give you?

  5. I have been doing Swagbucks for quite sometime and just can’t seem to figure out how to make a lot of swagbucks without spending all day in front of the computer, which totally not worth it. I use the search and have been able to get some GCs that way but not much. Enlighten me please.

  6. I agree that Swagbucks is a disappointment. I am hopeful that the new shop and earn will help speed up the earning process. I would appreciate some enlightenment too! Thanks!

  7. I have LOVED using swagbucks. I don’t do very many searches, but I have signed up for some of their special offers. Like Discover Card offered 3600 swagbucks to get a card – that’s $40 worth of Amazon giftcards! I pretty much only get Amazon giftcards because I have the Chase Amazon rewards cards and between the gift cards and rewards points most of my Christmas shopping is free!

  8. I’m with the disappointed crowd. Tried swagbucks for a long time and got absolutely nowhere. Can’t figure out how to earn anything without wasting a ton of time. Plus swagbucks searchbar totally messed up my computer. I’d love a realistic tutorial on it sometime. How does it really benefit without taking forever?!

  9. I can understand why people are disappointed . The trick for me is to NOT spend forever doing it. I don’t earn bank, though, either. I get about 1 GC a month ($5), for about 3 min a day (3×30 = 90 min)… so it’s not really worth it if you have a good paying job… but for someone like me who is unemployed & on the internet anyway.. a few more clicks isn’t a deal breaker for me… so it’s totally worth it.
I just do one search a day to get points (I get 7-10 usually), I do the daily poll and NOSO. There are a few pages online that post when Swagbucks has codes for free points, and I enter those whenever possible. It works out to be about 15-20 points a day, for FREEEEE!
If you have other people signed up under you, and if they follow a simple program like this, you get matching points for the searches they do…. granted, it takes a certain personality to do it everyday.. but they are out there!
