  3. So, I went to this website and signed up to get the deal. It credited my account with $10 for signing up. Do you know how to use that credit? I looked and could not find anything that lets me apply that amount in my rewards.

    • they usually don’t allow you so use credit when purchasing a gift card, sometimes it takes a while for things to ship too, so just be aware that it may take a little while for the cards to come

  14. Okay- I just went on the site to see about getting my $ back, and it appears that you have to “claim” your gift card before you get it in the mail. This would have been good info to have! You go under your account and click on my deals and then claim the deal (which means entering your address, etc.) and THEN it says it will be mailed. Here’s to hoping mine shows up!

  15. No gift card yet and it’s December 29th. I redeemed on the 12th. Tried to call and was put on hold and finally a message stated no one was available and for me to leave a message. Uhhh, really!?
    Now what!?

  17. Ok….I “claimed” it on the website. Everyone go and log in and claim it….then hopefully it shows up in a week or so. Otherwise I am going to be really upset!

  18. I claimed the B&N gift card on 12/15/11 and have not received it yet. I am going to wait one more week and then contact them. The last thing I got from them took a while as well, so perhaps they are backed up.

  21. I redeemed my card on 12/22 and have yet to receive it. Has anyone else received theirs or been able to talk to someone in their customer service department? I have called twice and left messages both times with no response. Is this company a fraud?

  22. If you did not get your gift card email them at savemore@facebook.com put the gift card name in the subject line. Make sure you give them your account information they will send you your gift card.

  23. I can’t even get savemore@facebook.com to work as a valid email address. I will not be using this company again… I am so embarassed, I forwarded this deal to my family and I really hope none of them purchased it.

  26. I haven’t received my gift card yet either though I redeemed it on 12/29. Just called in and got someone after only 5 minutes of waiting. He said they are on back order but will be shipped out early next week and should only be 7-10 business days. He also gave me a $5 savemore.com credit to use on future deals…not sure I will be using it though! I guess if February 1 rolls around and I still haven’t received it I will call again!

  28. I have left EIGHT messages on their phone number and just emailed the address listed above. I am so sad that I recommended them to friends. I have never received any response at all.

  29. Is there any recourse anyone knows of to at least refute the charges? I am furious that there is no accountability here.

  30. You can dispute the charge with your bank or credit union. If you used a credit card to pay for it they can try to get a credit back to your card. I got a reply 2 weeks ago from Savemore that said the giftcard would be mailed within the week, and still nothing. So I’m going to go in and fill out a dispute form tomorrow, I’m pretty confidant that will work, I used to work at a credit union and this kind of stuff happened alot.

    • I went into my bank today to dispute this, and the girl told me that you only have 60 days from the date of the transaction to dispute it… so that would be February 5th, which is like next week. So I think Savemore keeps dragging people along, pushing out the date they say they’ll mail the thing until you’re over 60 days, after which there is nothing you can do.

  31. So, how is everybody doing on their cards? I still haven’t got mine. I cannot even enter on savemore.com, the server gives some kind of a mistake and the screen just goes white and it says that they cannot access the address.

  32. i redeemed my voucher on 1/8/12 and have NOT received anything. i called them on 2/10, had to leave a message & they’ve not called me back. savemore seems to be a scam!

  34. Has anyone looked into their account on Savemore “redeemed deals” and see that the Barnes and Noble gift card is not there anymore!?!?!?! So not only do I not have it, am out $15, but they also act like it never happened…

    • I’ve been leaving messages and emailing them about this – it still shows up (for now) in my account. BUT — a quick google search showed thousands of complaints to the BBB about this specific issue and generally about this company. Very few people received their B&N giftcard…though I did read of one man that went through the DA’s office and BBB to get several purchases sent to him. Makes me wish. . .
