Yesterday, I posted about how it was time to Start Fresh in 2012 with Couponing! So whether you are new, or just need to get excited again about saving money, we will work through it together and re-fresh!

You can use printable coupons to save money. But, you won’t get nearly as many as you would if you got a Sunday Only Newspaper Subscription. Most of the deals I am able to get in store come from the newspaper coupons- I would guess about 80%. And, 20% are from printable coupons. So, you can see how it helps a lot to have them.

When I first started couponing, I didn’t get the need to have a Sunday newspaper subscription. But, I decided to jump in and try it. I figured the worst thing that could happen was that it didn’t work. But, it DID work and I soon found myself blown away at the money I was saving. So, if you are ready to jump in, call up your local newspaper and ask for a Sunday only subscription. If they don’t have that, ask for a weekend only. And, try to work out a discounted subscription deal.

If you live in Utah, I have worked out an awesome subscription deal with the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News. You are welcome to use that one as it is the best deal they currently have!

We are going to start our “Starting Fresh in 2012 with Coupons” posts the first week of January… so NEXT WEEK! So, get your subcriptions started and I will tell you what to do with them, and how to use them step by step. And soon you will be saving like a pro!! If you have any friends wanting to start couponing too, let them know about this series of posts. And you can work together to learn how to save!

  3. SO what do I do if I am having problems with my paper and I have contacted them, I mean about 30 times? It is the delivery person. He is a 16 kid who seams like he doesn’t even care.

    • If it were me, I would call up the newspaper again and let them know that you are not getting your newspapers. And, that if they can’t get your newspapers, then you will be cancelling and asking for a full refund of all the papers you haven’t received. You might have to take a trip to Walmart or the Gas station to grab your inserts. Or, maybe ask the newspaper for a different delivery person.
