UPdate: Reader Denise is WAY smarter than me and gave this information to make your Google Reader work:
“The reason it is probably not working for some people is because Blogger had an option that would add any blogger blog to your blogger feed. All you need to go is actually go into Google Reader, and on the top left where it says “add subscription” and paste your URL into the box provided, complete with the https://www.freebies2deals.com. Hope that helps!”
For those of you who read the Freebies2Deals updates in your Google Reader, it looks like it is uncompatible with my server switch. I used to work on Blogger (which is google owned) so we didn’t have a problem. But now I am on WordPress to give you guys the better organized site and such. So, many of you have said that Google Reader is not working for you- I’m guessing because it is not Google owned.
So, unfortunately, you will either need to check the site during the day at Freebies2Deals.com, become a Facebook Fan and/or Sign up for daily email updates. Or, you could actually sign up for the Instant RSS Feed. (Which is closes to what you were doing before)
If I figure out a way around this, I will let you all know! Thanks for being so great!
Denise
I still get ALL your updates on Google Reader. It works with any site.

I tried already tried what Denise suggested before I left the comment on your FB page this morning. Still isn’t working. I will just read through FB. Thanks!

What Denise suggested is the first thing I tried yesterday morning when I realized I wasn’t getting updates. Didn’t work for me either. đź™

I was having the same problem and “adding a subscription” and pasting the new URL kept directing my google reader to the old one. (Really weird, I’ve never experienced anything like that before.) The thing that finally worked for me was to “sign up for the instant RSS feed” link that is listed in the original post above and it will pop open a new window. In the right top corner you can select how you want to receive it and just click “google”. That will automatically add it to your google reader.
Hope that helps.
April
Thanks Christina! That worked!
