I just have to say that I am truly disappointed in Downy. Normally you can count on big brands like Downy to put together a decent giveaway. But their latest facebook promotion is a flop, in my opinion. So, yes, I am calling you out Downy!
Dear Downy:
We are Moms, busier than you can ever imagine. And we don’t have time to deal with all of the run around. You say, “Check the Facebook Page at this time for a Giveaway” and then only give part of your items away. What a waste of time. Then you want us to come back multiple times during the day for the rest of the Giveaway items? If you are going to do a Giveaway, do it right. Or, there is no reason for any of us to “like” you at all.
Sorry if that sounded a little harsh. Just venting a bit. I try to make sure the freebies I post for you guys are legitimate. But I am seeing a lot of comments all over the web of people complaining that the giveaway ended literally seconds after it opened…seems like more of a scam to get Facebook Fans than an actual Freebie Giveaway.
Hopefully they can step up their game, or I will personally be “un- liking” them. Sorry for everyone who wasted their time today trying to get one of their freebies!
