Mickey’s Halloween Tickets On Sale Today!!

DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission.

It’s July 30th!  That means everyone can purchase their Mickey’s Halloween Party Tickets today!!  If you are headed to Disneyland during that time, or coming on the Group Trip to Disneyland, you will want to purchase them ASAP before they sell out.

For any of you coming with us on the Discounted Group Trip to Disneyland… or if you are headed to Disneyland by yourself during Halloween time, I wanted to give you guys all a heads up that PRE-SALE tickets go on sale tomorrow, July 16th for Annual Passholders, Disney Rewards Visa Cardholders and Vacation Club Members.

You can head to the Disneyland website to purchase the Mickey’s Halloween Party Tickets.

Prices are usually around $65 per person. So keep that budgeted and set away.  Then on July 30th you can purchase them!

With the Mickey’s Halloween Party Ticket, they will let you into the park around 5:00pm and kick everyone else out around 6:00pm.  In past years, we have had the entire park to ourselves until Midnight- although we got all of the rides done WAY before that. We had a stack of Fast Passes and literally gave them away to a family on the way out because we had done all of the rides without them!  They also have fun candy and treat stations all along the park.  When I say we had bags and bags of candy… we really did!

Everyone in your family can come dressed up in their Halloween costumes (optional of course) and they even give you Trick or Treat bags!  It’s one of the most fun things I have ever done at Disney.

**If you still want to come with us to Disneyland, give Get Away Today a call (888.943.2929) and see if there are rooms left.  Last I heard, we had sold out completely and then 3 families backed out.  So we might have a few rooms left!  Definitely worth a call to see if you can come!  You can also see the details of that past announcement post and prices here.

***SIDE NOTE:  One reader, Cami, isn’t able to go on the Discounted Group Trip, she is looking to sell it before she has to cancel it with Get Away Today.  Details below in the comments if any of you are interested!

  1. Just an FYI- I got an e-mail from Get Away Today last week that said ticket prices for this are $68 per person. So just thought I would let you all know. I have never been to the Halloween party at Disneyland, so I am excited to go this year!

  2. Do you what time on the 30th they go on sale? Just wondering if it’s midnight or, say, 8 am when the offices open or something.

  3. Can we purchase these tickets once we get to the park?

    • Well you can sure try to buy them then… but these tickets usually sell out way before then. So I would highly recommend purchasing them before your trip— and as soon as you can afford it. 🙂

  6. Hi all! Just wanted to let you know that using my Disney Visa gave me a discount – $56.00!! For FRIDAY the 26th of September! I’m SO EXCITED!! Disney is charging $5 to ship my tix but that’s for 5 tickets so I’m totally happy with that price! YAY Disney!! Yay Halloweentime!!! Did I mention I’m SOOO EXCITED?!?!?! =) Thanks Melea for getting me excited enough to make this big splurge for our fam! We’ve never been at Halloweentime (my niece and nephew have NEVER BEEN at all to Disneyland!) and we’ve never stayed at a Disney Resort Hotel! We’re SO LOOKING FORWARD to this awesome trip!!

    • Katie, you are going to LOVE it! And Halloweentime is so much fun I have started going every year!! YAY!

    • I tried using my disney visa and it didn’t give me any discount? Did you do anything special to get the discount?

      Reply
      • There shouldn’t be a discount by using your Disney visa. You were just able to purchase them early—now that everyone can purchase, there isn’t any discount by being able to purchase early.

  7. Here is the info from Cami:

My name is Cami. My little family and I were planning on joining you in Disneyland but vacation time didn’t work out! We are going to have to cancel our trip. We will lose $60 of our deposit unless we can find someone to take our place! I talked with Get Away Today and they said if I found someone, they could take over our package. Here are the details for our specific package:
Payment plan – you still have until September 9 to finish paying
Total cost – $923, with $200 due immediately (would be paid to me to replace what I already paid for the down payment)
    Dates: September 23-27
Package for 2 people (children 2 and under are free
2 adult 3-day park hopper tickets (you could make it 4-day for like $50 extra if you wanted)
Stay in the Quality Inn & Suites – literally a 5-10 minute walk to the park so you don’t have to worry about parking
    Free parking at hotel
    Free breakfast at hotel
Hotel has 2 double beds, so you could easily add up to 2 more people as long as you buy their park hopper tickets. (You can call Get Away Today and add the tickets and they can tell you how much it would cost.)
Early morning magic hours are included (which is AWESOME and I highly recommend taking advantage of it)
A character breakfast is included for 2.

  9. Malea,
Are there any special deals on the Halloween Party tickets for our freebies to deals group? I just wanted to check before ordering the tickets ;). I am so excited for our Disneyland trip!!! Yay!!! Thanks so much for setting it up for us!

    • Nope, just grab them before they sell out. No one can get discounts on those because they are in such high demand. 🙂

  10. Melea, we think we may want to take advantage of this, but we had a question that I’m hoping you can answer since you’ve done it before. How do they determine who has tickets for the Halloween Party, and how do they “kick out” those who don’t?

    Reply
    • They give wrist bands. They literally do kick people out and you have to show your wristband on each and every ride you get on. This is a MUST DO on my list for Disneyland. So maybe spend the rest of the day at the beach, or at the hotel pool, you could even do a Character meal late afternoon and then head into the park for the party around 5 or 6.

      Reply
      • So they could still possibly be in the park, but can’t go on any rides? We are thinking we’ll go the whole day before to both parks, then sleep in late, hang at the pool (probably stay at the Disneyland Hotel, we’ve stayed there before and LOVED it, even though it’s expensive), and go to this the next evening.

        Reply
        • No, they have cast members at different checkpoints making you show your wrist bands as you walk through different parts of the park too. They lock it down. 🙂
