Each morning take 2 minutes, head to Amazon.com and scroll through the Lightning Deals. You can see what deals are starting at what times. If there is something on your Christmas list, and it is being featured as a lightning deal, set your phone alarm to be ready to go right before it starts!

Lightning Deals start every hour or every two hours… depending on the category. Think of them as mini daily deals. They have an allotted number to sell and the first people to add them to their cart and then checkout within 15 minutes will get them. If someone adds it to their cart and then doesn’t check out within 15 minutes, anyone who requested to be on the waitlist will get a message from Amazon letting them know they can claim it instead. **So, if you don’t get it, get on the waitlist, you still could!
On top of these great deals, you can get FREE Shipping with Amazon Prime. You can get Amazon Prime, by signing up for the Free 30-Day Trial of the Amazon Mom Program, or Amazon Student Program. Or, just pad your order to hit $25 and it will ship free too!

My 2&4yo received the VTech dinos at our Christmas exchange this weekend. What a great toy. Good if your kids like cars or dinosaurs – or both! The switching is easy to do. If you’re even considering getting one of these lightning deals, don’t think too hard and just buy it. I have seen them disappear right before my eyes! If you decide you don’t want it later, you can probably sell it on Craigslist or eBay and get back what you paid or more.
