A Dyson REALLY is worth it. I used to buy a new vacuum every day after Thanksgiving (and sometimes twice a year) because ours would always poop out with all of the vacuuming we’d do, so I finally found a screaming deal on a Dyson and my husband talked me into it. We’ve now had it for about 6 years and it has paid for itself time and time again. Just for fun, we even vacuumed a carpet with a different brand newer vacuum, then we vacuumed over the same floor with the Dyson, and guess what? The Dyson still picked up tons of dirt and crap that the other vacuum left behind. If you have the money to spend on a Dyson, you won’t regret it! One of the best more expensive investments I’ve made.

Ok ladies this vacuum will save you money really! I was buying cheep vacuums every year or couple of years. I bought a Dyson 6 years ago and it is still going!!! I paid about $300 for a Dyson animal ($549 MSRP) a few years ago, and I have to say I’m not terribly impressed. It’s broken twice now (covered by warranty), but very common problems with these vacs. They are VERY expensive to fix when not covered by warranty!
