Utah Readers: Online Food Bank Drive!

The Food Bank here in Utah is running really low!  472,000 people here in Utah go without food each and every day.  So, they need our help!

Rally together, go through your stockpiles and donate.  Even if it is only a few cans of food, it goes a long way!  Plus, teaching your kids about giving, even when things are tight in your own family is such a great lesson.

A $1 donation can be turned into $8 worth of food and goods to be given to those who need it.  Giving even just a little truly can make a difference.

How Can You Help?

  • Holiday food bags will be delivered in newspapers statewide during the first weeks of November and December. Bags can be filled with non-perishable food items and dropped off at Riverton Motors, RC Willey and Smith’s Food & Drug throughout Utah or to local food pantries.
  • Or, to make it really easy, you can head to the Utah Food Bank Online and give a cash donation instead.

Thanks everyone!  And hopefully together, we can all donate and help everyone in need of food this Holiday Season!
