The Salt Lake County Fair is allowing children to earn free carnival rides by reading books! Each Salt Lake County student between the ages of 5-14 can read 3 books and receive 3 carnival rides in return!
Just have your child fill out the “Read & Ride” book report form and make sure you, as their parent, sign it.
This is a great opportunity to encourage your school age children to read over the summer!
**Fine print: Fair runs from August 8-11. Hours of availability will be from 11:00-9:00pm. A maximum of three rides per student. Books must be approved by the student’s teacher or parent. Students must bring the signed form to the Fair Office at the Fairgrounds and ask to see a Fair Supervisor. Students will be asked to tell the Supervisor a little bit about the books they have read.
