This Is The Place Heritage Park will be having a free admission day on Friday June 8th. Not only can you get in free but you can get free ice cream too!
The free admission is valid from 10:00am-5:00pm. Parking is also free but keep in mind that it will be a busy and crowded day.
This Is The Place is a fun way to see how Utah used to be. There are pony rides, panning for gold, train rides, petting zoo’s, and much much more. There is a lot of walking involved when visiting This Is The Place so plan accordingly.

I would suggest to be there right @ 10 – as the day wears on it gets hotter, kids get more tired & it gets WAY more crowded. 🙂 we went last year & it was fun but not enough fun to justify going again this year 🙂

I went to the zoo the same day they were doing this last year and it took me 45 minutes to turn onto Sunnyside Avenue. Just to warn anyone…traffic was sooooo bad!

So, it looks like they open at 9:00 am, but you can’t get in for free until 10:00 am?
