Redbox is offering a Free Movie Credit. Just create your account on Redbox, reserve your movie, pick it up and watch it. Then, once you return your movie, Redbox will put a Free Credit in your account. So, the next time your movie will be free!

They've always done given a free rental code to new accounts. They're just extending it to once a month instead of the one time after your first rental. The thing I want to know is how can people with existing accounts get in on it? Or is it just for new accounts? And if so, why do companies treat new accounts better than existing customers? Don't they know it's easier and cheaper to keep existing customers happy than luring in new ones?

rebecca, it applies to new accounts only. they are not "extending it to once a month." by entering your cell phone number in your account info, you will receive a text on the first monday of each month for a free rental good for that day.
