My Smith’s Cereal Shopping Trip!

If you live by a Smith’s and haven’t checked out the General Mills Cereal Deal, you will definitely want to! I hauled the hubby with me yesterday to stock back up on Cereal since we were running low!

First of all, it was great to see that Smith’s was ready for the sale.  Boxes and boxes of cereal were everywhere with crates.  So, you could definitely purchase multiple boxes without feeling guilty of clearing the shelves.

I was able to grab 24 Boxes of Cereal for $27.66!! Only $1.15 per box.

In the past, we have seen cereal go cheaper.  $.75- $1.00 has definitely happened.  But I am finding that those types of sales are much harder to come by with a bulk purchase of multiple boxes.  Blame it on inflation.  So, for our family, $1.15 was a great stock up price- especially since my family eats Cereal like crazy!

Need to know how to grab the deal??  Head to my Smith’s Post here.

**By the way, the cashier said there wasn’t a limit on the number of boxes for the $6.00 GM Promotion. So, as long as you purchase in multiples of four, you will get the discount on your total.

  2. The ad said a limit of 2 -$6.00 per transaction. All other boxes would ring up at $2.99 per box. Did you buy more than 8 in 1 transaction and have it work?

    • I am wondering the same thing. Did you do separate transactions?

      • I took advantage of this on Wednesday. I bought 20 boxes of cereal, all on one transaction, with no problems. The $6 came off at the end of the order. This is a great deal. All told, I saved $30 on cereal my boys love.

  3. I also recently went to smiths and stocked up on the cereal but the ad said limit of 2, so I only bought 8 boxes. If you really got 24 boxes of cereal then I will def go back…

  4. Yep! I asked them if I had to do separate transactions in order for the $6.00 to come off multiple times and he said no. So I did all 24 boxes in one transaction with all of my coupons, and it worked perfect!!

  5. I wish it wasn’t always the sugar cereal (plain cheerios is the only exception that I noticed) that was on sale. I used to purchase it up, but now try to avoid buying it except for birthdays or other special occasions.

  6. Tonight I went to get the deal and the shelves were cleared. It was the Smiths in Herriman and I was sad I missed out.
