Utah readers get ready! DownEast has announced their 2012 Spring Tent Sale! Nothing is over $15.00 and the sale will include DownEast and name brand clothing.

If you have been to a DownEast tent sale in the past you know you will want to hit this sale early. There are some awesome deals available at these sales. You just need to be prepared for large crowds and long checkout lines.

I went to the sale last year in the morning but the lines we still AT LEAST 30 mins and it was really hot. An old woman actually fainted and an ambulance came to pick her up so please go prepared with water and food!

Do you know if this is just clothing or does it include their furniture, home stuff?

I think this is only for clothing, and it’s the only location for this week, but they have them all around the state at different times. Last summer there was one in Layton and Ogden. I got so much awesome stuff! At the ones I went to, the layering basics were $2.50, the other shirts were $5, skirts were $7, dresses were $10, etc. It was AMAZING! 🙂

I stopped by this morning but I honestly did not get anything…not that there was not lots of cute items, but the prices are higher than they have been at their past tent sales and I had a hard time paying the higher prices compared to the previous sales…the curse of a deal shopper I suppose. The prices were something like basics 2 for $8 or $5 each, fashion tops $10, skirts and sweaters $12, dresses $15. The last one had the prices in the previous comment and those were deals worth being excited over. You may still find something you like, but I just wanted people to know that with these prices your total price jumps a lot faster than last time… Yes, it is only clothing and they bring different clothing to add to the boxes each day of the sale.
