Today is another Mega Swagbucks Day.  If you don’t know what Swagbucks is or, just have been procrastinating signing up, please take the time to do it.  It really is the easiest way to earn Free Gift Cards I have ever done… no strings attached.  Our family has earned a ton of free gift cards just by using their search engine instead of Google.

If you aren’t already signed up, create your Swagbucks account.

Don’t know what Swagbucks is?

You can earn Swagbucks just by using their search engine.  Then, you can redeem your Swagbucks for Gift Cards to places like Amazon, Lowes, Southwest, Target and more!  And, I’ve been doing this for almost 2 years now and have NEVER paid a dime.  But have definitely redeemed a lot of free Gift Cards!

If you have no idea what Swagbucks is, read a post I wrote about it and get started! You can start earning for next year too!

Swagbucks is BY FAR my favorite completely Free site! I’ve received Amazon Gift Cards, Southwest Gift Cards, Lowe’s Gift Cards and more.  It is VERY possible to pay for most, if not all of your Christmas with Swagbucks.  So if you haven’t started using it yet, get going!!

  1. I love Swagbucks! Thanks for getting me started! I don’t save my AGC’s for Christmas, but they pay for all of my diapers for my baby girl which saves me a lot of money. 🙂

    • Have you downloaded their tool bar for your internet searches? And make sure not to put the exact web address in- for example search “freebies2deals” not “freebies2deals.com”. And make sure you are always signed in… Good luck. I win swagbucks about every 10 searches or so, but it’s really random.

  4. About a year ago, I decided to open a Swagbucks account and start searching. So, I did! I earned like 100 pts. for signing up, and that was a great start. I downloaded the toolbar and used it for searching. I think I got points for searching maybe 3 or 4 times (over like 6 months). That was it. So I tried doing some other things to earn points too–watching the videos, playing games, trying to take surveys (yes, I always did the “pre-survey” only to find out that I did not “qualify”). So, basically I didn’t have a good experience with Swagbucks. I read things online and there are people that are really PRO swagbucks, and then there are people that are really ANTI Swagbucks. Obviously those who are making money are for Swagbucks–I would be too! So I decided to cancel my account and delete the toolbar. I felt like it was too much of a scam. I also feel like Swagbucks “chooses” who and who not to give swagbucks to. I feel like the more popular bloggers get lots of points (they are GREAT publicity for Swagbucks because they are earning money and have lots of followers who want to do the same). So, what do you think? I would love some feedback. I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband is in dental school–I WOULD LOVE TO BE MAKING SOME MONEY IF I CAN!!!!! I don’t know what I did wrong and am wondering what others think about Swagbucks!! Anyone had a similar experience as me? Or have any great suggestions for me?

    • They don’t have to award extra searching points to bloggers cause the bloggers get tons of referral points. And that’s the thing with Swagbucks. If you want the bucks get referrals. That is the fastest way to earn points for those of us who can never qualify for surveys and don’t want to buy stuff. If you were using Swagbucks all the time and truly only got awarded searching points a few times there was a problem with your account. I think I read on their site that it will only award you searching points 3 times per day and at random intervals. One thing I have noticed is that it will almost never award points on your first search of the day. I usually get awarded after 3 or 4 searches in a day and then sometimes I might get awarded again right away and other times I might have to do 6 or 7 more searches before I get anything else.

  5. I love Swagbucks… Getting points for searches is totally random though… But another awesome perk – I opened my email this morning, and I had an email from Swagbucks with a link in it to claim 50 points because it’s my birthday. No searching necessary. 🙂

      • I have been doing it since the middle of July. I have found that some days I am qualified to do tons of surveys and then other days, not so many. They are so easy! I also just set the swagbucks search bar at the top and then I always use that when I search. Easy money!!!

  8. I just joined SwagBucks about a week ago and already have 365 points! (Just from random web searches)…….But I am confused……..why are Friday’s called ‘Mega SwagBucks’ days? Do they give away extra or ‘more’ than normal on Fridays or something? Just wondering why it’s called “Mega SwagBucks”???

  9. @ Emily: I am having some of the same issues as you. After hearing so many wonderful things about swagbucks, I finally decided to join. I got a total of 10 swagbucks for doing searches so far. A lot of the searches I have attempted to make have just taken me to a blank page also. I spent an hour answering question after question to see if I qualify for surveys. After disqualifying for every one I tried, I gave up. I am not a big fan of wasting my time. I don’t see how people earn so many points. I have been signed up for a month now and I only have 57 swagbucks! I wish I knew the trick to benefiting from this site because it all sounds really great, but I am not seeing any great rewards.
