Nielsen Scanner Program Close to Ending!

We all love Free stuff!  Obviously, or we wouldn’t be checking the site right?  Well, I just wanted to let you know that Nielsen is getting close to closing their applications.  So, if you haven’t signed up, you will want to!

I get a lot of different feedback from people who have received scanners.  The other day at the Conference, I had people tell me that they loved it.  And, their kids thought it was cool too and wanted to help out!  You get rewarded for scanning the items you purchase at the store. So after you get home, you plug in your deive to your computer and have the information upload.

I have a few readers who have actually been doing it for a few years and have earned some incredible rewards!

For some of us, you may think it sounds too time consuming.  But, my way of thinking is if you are already purchasing the items, take a second to scan them before you put them away. If taking that extra time will help you earn free stuff, then I am personally all about it!  But, I am STILL on the waiting list??!

So, if you haven’t signed up, take a second and do it.  You might be one of the demographics they are looking for!  **The survey will take about 5 minutes to complete.

To read a little more about it, you can read my first post here.

***You can try out the scanner risk free.  If you don’t like it, or if it isn’t a good fit, you can return it with a postage paid box!  So, we all should try it out and get some free stuff!

  2. I signed up the first time I read about this on your blog and my family was selected not long after! It is easy and fun, and as a bonus has really made me watch what I am buying! Thanks for an introduction to an awesome program!

  3. I also signed up after first hearing about it here and decided it was too time consuming and didn't think the free swag they were offering was worth all the extra time I was spending doing it. I expected better gifts than say a soccer ball (which probably would've taken me six months to a year to earn). You are supposed to enter EVERYTHING you purchase from anywhere, not just your groceries. Also, its not just simple scanning but you also have to enter how much you paid for each item, all coupons used, their worth, and the quantity on every single thing you buy. Plus, sometimes I'd forget and put all my groceries away only to have to go undo it all to scan them in. It wasn't for me, but it was very easy to send it back, so its worth a try if you think you'd like doing something like that. Just thought I'd give you some feedback from my experience.
