Just a reminder to everyone, that you should be getting the Sunday Coupon Inserts! If you aren’t, you really are missing out on a ton of deals. Plus, with Christmas around the corner, we will be getting more game and toy coupons in the paper too.
Each and every month, I save WAY more than the price I actually paid for my month’s subscription. So, the coupons definitely pay for themselves! I have build my entire food storage, just because I have gotten multiple copies of the Sunday Paper. That way, when an item is free or cheap, I can purchase 5 of them- not just one.
I can then use the one I need and put the other 4 in food storage. That allows me to never have to pay full price for ANYTHING. I just wait until another great sale comes along and pair it again with my coupons.

If your paper does not currently offer the Red Plum insert, you have another way to possibly get them in the mail.
If you want to know if your address can receive them, go to this page. Enter in your address and it will tell you whether a nearby paper carries it or if you can receive the inserts in the mail. This page will work for anyone, in ANY state.
If it says you can receive the inserts by mail, go here and fill out the request. They will start mailing you the Red Plum Inserts! YAY!! You should get your first mailing in about 5 weeks.

I wish I knew why West Jordan was excluded from getting the Red Plum inserts. They never seem to have good coupons on their website.

I started getting the paper a few weeks ago. I just decided to pick up the daily herald at my local gas station for a while until I decided if I could do this coupon stuff. My papers have not had all 3 coupon inserts every week. Is that normal? One week had the red plum. The next week had the SS. Are all 3 supposed to be in there every Sunday?

Also talk to your neighbors! After getting a cheap Sunday paper subscription ($24/year), I started noticing which other houses had papers sitting in their driveways. I talked to those neighbors and asked them to save the whole bundle of coupons for me. I go to their house on Sunday or Monday to pick it up or they put it in my mailbox, plus a copy from my parents and in-laws, and I automatically have 4-5 copies of Sunday coupons. One of my neighbors’ papers even had an accidental 3 copies of one of the coupon inserts this week.
Redplum comes in the mail in Seattle, so I walk around to neighbors on Tuesday or Wednesday (variable which day it arrives) and get theirs then.

I’ve had a problem with missing inserts in the papers that are delivered to me. I’ve e-mailed the Daily Herald, but have never had response. This has happened to me 4 separate times this year, the most recent being last Sunday (I was missing one insert from one of my 3 papers). Do you have any suggestions on how to get my complaints through? A contact or an e-mail I know will be read? It’s frustrating because I only buy the papers for the inserts and not all my product is delivered every time. Help! And, Thank you!

Hey Valerie, I would call the Daily Herald. Not Email. If you call the day after you don’t get inserts, they will usually re deliver them to you on Monday.

Thanks for this! Because of your site, I have decided to get into couponing! It’s taken me a while to get on the bandwagon. Hopefully I can do well at it. I just called my newspaper and they have a special coupon sunday paper, you receive 2 sunday papers ever sunday for $10 is this a good price? They are also offering a coupon seminar tonite for free! I am so going!
