I tried this and it looks like they limit the quantity of how many you can purchase of this item to 1. So I couldn’t get the discount. Oh well. Am I the only one with this same result?

Weird ! They charge sales tax on gift cards !

I contacted Live Chat, and she said to call their Tax Exemption Department and they would remove the sales tax from the order. 1-800-848-8100.

I called, and they said they were aware of the issue and were working to correct it. It will be corrected by tomorrow if you want to wait to purchase, or if you go ahead and make the purchase, they will refund the money back to us on Monday. Must have something to do with the new SKU number. It was a different number originally.

It lets you go through the whole process, then when you submit the Order it makes you restart to change your quantity. Wish it would have worked!

Same with me. It let me get all the way to the end before it told me I was limited to one. Bummer, wasn’t sure if with the the tax, then having to call to have it removed ,and waiting for the promo code and then redeeeming it and waiting for the cards to come in the mail was worth all the effort. Use AM EX Business card at Costco. Gas a few cents cheaper, and then get 4% back. Hard to say if worth it. 🙂

Not such a great deal and the item number you stated is incorrect its 551677. I was only allowed to order one at this cost and once you figure out the stations you can use it asll. (big major, exon, shell, arco and few others) those are the ones that charge more for gas anyway. Not such a good deal after all.

It said the gift cards were excluded when I tried. They have caught onto what people were doing to meet the $100 total. It lets you add 5 now but won’t take the $20 off.
