St. Patrick's Day Events and Freebies!

I have heard from a few readers that Chik-Fil-A is doing a pretty fun promotion for St. Patrick’s Day.

Just go and purchase any food or drink item on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) and keep your receipt.  You can go back to Chick-Fil-A anytime before the end of the month, show them your receipt and get everything you ordered on St. Patrick’s day again for FREE!

I talked with corporate and they said that each Chick-Fil-A can decide whether they want to participate or not.  So just call your Chick-Fil-A ahead of time to see if they are participating.  Or, they should have a sign up at their store telling you about the promotion too!  (Thanks Tracy!)

Discovery Gateway, located in downtown Salt Lake City, is having a free admission day Today!  Yes, it will be packed.  But, if you haven’t had a chance to check it out, why not go for free??

Become a Fan of Redbox on Facebook and they will be giving their fans a unique free movie code they can use on St. Patrick’s Day!  Pretty cool!  I am guessing they will hand out more free codes throughout the year too!

Magical Pudding-

And, I know this isn’t something necessarily free, but I wanted to share something really fun my mom did with us when we were kids on St. Patrick’s Day.  It obviously was memorable because I still remember it now!

She would buy Pistachio Pudding mix and tell us that it was magical.  She wouldn’t show us the package, just the powder.  If you didn’t know, the powder comes out white.  So, you would have no idea that once you put milk in it, it will turn green.  We loved it!  It was a fun little and inexpensive thing that anyone can do.  Plus, you get to eat it afterwards!
