I called my nearest IHOP (Utah county) and they said scary pancakes are served now but free only on Halloween. Has anyone seen or heard differently?

  The fine print on the ad on the IHOP page says “All kids 12 & under get a Scary Face Pancake between 7am and 10pm Friday, October 30th at participating locations. One per child. Dine in only.”

I just left ihop expecting free pancakes but we were charged for them. They had trick or treat bags with a coupon for a free scary face pancake on October 30.

Just called my nearest Ihop in phoenix. They said that we have to order an adult meal and then we get a scary face pancake free for kids . No costumes required.
