And funny enough, my husband told me something last night that I never realized about myself. He said, “One of your best qualities is also one of your worst–taking on way more than you should at the same time.” So yep! That’s me in a nutshell and probably why I thrive and love finding and posting deals–even when it is in the wee hours of the morning. 😉
Ok so if you haven’t been watching, Amazon’s Prime Day started at 1am MST last night. A few really good deals popped up between them and Walmart and this morning even more have been popping up.
I will be 100% honest and say that I was a little let down that Amazon didn’t have more great deals starting that late. I mean, if I am going to stay up that late to shop, at least reward me with some good ones you know? But as of 12:20pm MST, Amazon still hasn’t released all of the “promised” items. And the only way to really see those is to keep updating THIS PAGE. The section that says “Prime Exclusive Deals of the Day and Kindle Deals” and if you refresh it, when a new deal has popped up, it will show up there. And if you were to check it now, you would see a bunch of deals that show as all sold out that went live earlier.
Because there are still Prime Day deals that haven’t popped up yet, I will post those on Freebies2Deals.com when I see them later today. (Don’t wait for the email because it won’t come out with those deals until tomorrow–after the deals have already ended. You will want to check Freebies2Deals.com directly.)
Along with that, it’s almost like every other store under the sun has decided to throw some crazy deal or sale out there to compete with Amazon and Walmart’s sales. And some of them are just barely starting. So again, make sure you check my website directly to see ALL of the deals that pop up! And lots of retail stores are deciding last-minute to do a FREE Shipping Sitewide Sale. So I will work on getting those posted as quickly as possible as well.
HAPPY SHOPPING! Hopefully you can get your hands on a few good deals to stash away for Christmas or for an upcoming Birthday.

I was really let down too. I expected something more from them!

I have to say that there was a deal I wanted to get it, but when I went in it was no longer available. I actually decided to contact customer support through chat, and they honored the original deal. That made me very happy.

Super disappointing! Can’t believe I stayed up til 2:00 for this! I hate the way they’re doing the deals throughout the day too. I wanted some things but they don’t give you a heads up of when they’ll be available and then I miss them.

I was VERY disappointed with Amazon’s Prime Day. It seems as if the majority of the “deals” were items they haven’t been able to move out of their warehouse because no one wants them. As one person put on Facebook, “Happy bait and switch day.” A lot of hype for a lot of undesirable junk.

You weren’t the only one a little disappointed in the lack of deals. I woke up at 1 last night and finally decided at 2:20 aside from the deal of wipes I got it was a lot of build up for pretty much nothing. And yeah bummer that I have no idea when the deals are coming and even if you do you have a 1% chance of getting them even though you clicked on it right when it pops up and they say its gone and waiting list full. Oh well I guess I was just excited then a little bummed that Amazon really didn’t deliver for how much hype they put into it. Now I’ll have to do more Black Friday shopping than I was hoping!
You’re AWESOME though Melea, thanks as always for all you do!
