That used to be true. You could use it even after the expiration date. However, as of Aug. 1, they stopped allowing you to do that. Now when it expires, it expires.

Whenever I strike out & don’t find anything to use a Kohl’s coupon on, I surprise an un-expecting customer. I’ll ask them if they want a coupon & you ought to see their face light up! I know mine would too! I also do this at other retailers where coupons are store specific.

Something I didn’t realize about Kohl’s cash is that there’s a timeline for it’s use. So when I used this code to get my presents the Kohl’s cash came in a few days later and it was only good for 8 days

Kohls is the best!! Here’s two reasons why (even thought I could list more). 1) they allow you to enter up to 4 promo codes to see which one will give you more bang for your buck and 2) our major gift to our child this year was a kidkraft kitchen set. We found an awesome deal on Amazon and so I anxiously waited until Cyber Monday to buy in hope of buying it cheaper. When I hit buy low and behold “does not ship to Hawaii” appeared. I was crushed. I had all the assessories on the way via friends and family. I went from website to website of major retailers and everyone said the same. My heart sank. I wanted to cry. All the kitchen sets that were large enough to my child height were sold out on island. I called friends and family and they offered to help by researching or shipping to there home then shipping to me. I was determined toget it shipped for free to Hawaii. Then a light bulb went off. I remembered I shipped shorts from Kohls. I looked online, put the set in my cart, typed in 4 promo codes and BAM SUCCESS!! HAWAII SHIPPING NO EXTRA COST (YEAHHHH!!) I literally called friends and told coworkers. Oh and bonus. I got cold hard Kohls Cash (insert touchdown celebration here) . If I could I’d walk into the store and give every employee I saw a hug (awk ward) so they could pass it up the chain. I guess thank good for them there’s no Kohls here or I’d probably be arrest for excessive elation and hugging. 😉 thank Kohls~~you saved us!!
