Calling all Amazon Mom members! A while ago, Amazon announced changes to the Amazon Mom program that would go into effect on November 11th and they promised that all Amazon Mom members would receive a FREE $30 credit sometime in November to help everyone adjust to the new changes.

I have been watching all month for the email containing more information about the credit, and it looks like it has finally been sent out! You are looking for an email with the Subject line: “Claim Your Subscribe & Save Credit from Amazon Mom”.

In that email will be your individual claim code and instructions on how to redeem the $30.00 credit. It looks like once you have applied the credit to your account, it will automatically be deducted from your next Subscribe & Save order. Don’t need $30 in product just yet? No worries! Any amount left of the credit will just be applied to future orders through May 9, 2015. So you have a few months to use up all of it.

**Not familiar with the new changes? Here are the benefit changes that were made as of November 11, 2014:

  • Extra 5% discount for 5+ subscriptions: After November 11, 2014, Mom members will receive the 15% Subscribe & Save discount (rather than 20%) when five or more subscriptions arrive on the same recurring delivery day. Diapers count toward the five items but still get a 20% discount.
  • 20% off wipes subscriptions: After November 11, 2014, the discount on wipes ordered through Subscribe & Save will be 5% (or 15% when five or more subscriptions arrive on the same recurring delivery day).

  1. Thank you so much for the $30 post! I have Amazon Mom but had no idea about the $30. I would’ve missed it without you. Free $30 – I love it!

  2. I got the email! Thanks so much for the post. I have a question though… my email issued me a $15 dollar credit. Do you happen to know why my amount would be less?

  7. Thanks! I would’ve completely missed this email! Mine was only $15 also…I wonder if it has something to do with how much you use the SS option? I don’t do it a whole lot but I have a little bit on there. But hey, I’m excited for the $15.

  9. Mine was also only $15, that’s true though better than nothing. I was happy with my $15 than I saw this post and I was like bummer but still better than nothing.

  12. YAY! I was soooo excited when I checked my mail this morning to my gift from Amazon. I wonder if the difference in the amount is whether your a Prime member or not?

      • Oh Dang! Sorry to hear that. I wonder why some got $30 and some $15. At least it’s money we get to spend 🙂

  13. Only fifteen for me as well, and I am a prime member. I am definitely not complaining, just curious as to why it is different! Love amazon!!

  14. I have been an Amazon prime/mom member for years now but I didnt receive an email. Is there someone I should contact or just be patient you think?

    • I’m wondering the same thing.

      • Check your spam. That’s where mine was 🙂 Yay for $30!

    • I had to call them as I had still not received it. (888)280-3321 and they were very helpful, although they didn’t know what I was talking about until they talked with someone in marketing. She went ahead and issued the credit directly so no waiting for an email.

Although she did say that it was only supposed to be a $15 credit for everyone, not $30. Ah well, I’m good with $15. 🙂

      • Nevermind, even though she said I would be credited $15, they only gave me a credit of $11.50? Weird, I’m not going to flip over $3.50 though.

  15. 15$ here, every little bit helps. Thanks I would have passed it up.

  16. Mine was $30.00. I use Amazon Prime, Amazon Mom, and Subscribe and Save. I wonder why some are only getting $15.00. That’s a bummer, but better than $0.

I was kind of bummed about the S&S changes; I’ve got the 20% discount down to a science. 15% will still be great, of course, but not as fun as it used to be. I even added a couple of items to my November 9 delivery date so I could take advantage of the last 20% on as many things as possible.

    • I use all that as well but only received $15.

  18. I read a comment from someone on Facebook that said they checked with Amazon and Amazon said the value of the credit is based on the purchases you made this year. $15 dollars is better than nothing though! Yay for amazon!

  20. Curious…is Amazon Mom a better deal than Costco? I keep hearing of a lot of Mom’s using it, but I just buy my wipe, formula and diapers from Costco. I’m wondering if anyone has done the comparison and if Amazon Mom is a better deal??

    Reply
    • I haven’t found anything cheaper than the huggies wipes when they’re on a coupon at costco. Target up&up diapers are the cheapest I’ve found if you buy them when the sale is linked with getting a gift card back.

  21. Jessie, I wondered the same thing awhile back and so I started comparing. Amazon is better most of the time. Sometimes they’re about the same, but Amazon doesn’t charge tax so it’s still better.

  26. I just talked to an Amazon customer service person and she said there was a random group selected for the email to be sent to and if you didn’t get an email you’re out of luck.

  28. I’ve been a member since Amazon Mom started and did not receive an email. I contacted customer service about it and it seems they give everyone a different story–they told me it was for new members only. Bummer.
