    • You will need to fill out the form on the Spirit Airlines site with your letter to qualify for the free offer. It is Spirit Airlines giving out the free miles, not Freebies2Deals. The link to their site is provided for you in the post. 🙂

      • Melea,

I think in the future you need to steer clear from posting these kind of negative offers. Apparently, people are only swayed by the word FREE & not really reading the post. It also seems like they aren’t proofing their comments as they don’t make sense. Honestly, I don’t understand the reason(s) behind this kind of publicity.

Mind you, these are just a few comments from a concerned customer. : ) I guess you can always just remove the post but, that’s all up to your discretion.

        • Yeah it isn’t really supposed to be a negative offer. Spirit asked everyone to write them what they hated about their airline so they could fix it.. and in exchange would give free miles for people who would do it. I think a lot of people didn’t understand that that was what Spirit was doing and that they were welcoming negative comments to help them get better.

          • That’s exactly what I thought. I also thought they’d get feedback from what they didn’t like about other airlines too. It’s all in how you present it , right? That also works the other way too when you “give it.” Oh well, live & learn.

At least Andy (post below) is reading : )

  4. While we are on a vent against airlines, all you mommas beware: US Airways was HORRIBLE. We reserved the last row for our little family but when we boarded the airplane, we were all in different areas of the airplane. When I told the flight attendants my three-year-old daughter would have to be seated in between two strangers, they told me I had to figure it out. What kind of airline thinks it is acceptable to separate a 3-year-old from her parents??? Needless to say, I blocked the aisle as I sat there totally confounded at the situation until we were able to find people willing to change seats so I could be next to her. I wrote customer service and got a generic “We are sorry for the inconvenience” reply and I pursued it by filing complaints with the BBB, Department of Transportation, and Aviation Consumer Protection. Absolutely ludicrous. I forfeited my return flight with them and flew Southwest. Interestingly enough, there was a family onboard who would be separated from their child. The flight attendants announced on the speaker asking if anyone would mind switching seats or otherwise enjoy providing free babysitting for the flight (they were a very entertaining crew, we loved them). Needless to say, I’ll never fly US Airways and I’ll always fly Southwest.
