For women who can’t breastfeed. Not everyone has that ability.

Only about 5% of women truly can’t breastfeed but many many more don’t trust their bodies and with samples thrown in their lap helps contribute to the unnecessarily high failure rate. It is sad, but costco doesn’t have any breastfeeding items only formula to offer. Plus formula is a big money making item, they bank (literally) on women not being successful. If you have breastfeeding issues, you can attain tons of free samples and such at that time, helps not to give in if it’s right there.
