I think a lot of you know we are in the middle of building a new house. It can be a lot of fun… but it can also be super stressful. You want to make sure you make the right choices design wise for your house. But you also want to stay within budget and upgrade things that can’t be upgraded later. So I feel like my head is always about to explode when making choices and shopping around for the best deals on hardwood, tiles and all of the stuff that is “supposed” to be fun.
Because I’m in the middle of building a new home, Big Money TV invited me out to be a guest on their show yesterday to give me some tips on what things to watch out for when building or buying. There are a lot of things you might not even think of that can either add value to your home or design elements that really make it hard to sell in the future!
They told me they would pick me up on the way to filming. Little did I know it was going to be a Range Rover Limo!! I’ve never even been in a Limo. Crazy, right? My kids thought it was so cool. So I let them dance inside for a bit under all of the flashing colored lights and fun music.
Doug Clark and Blair Poelman (the hosts of the show) were both really great and really easy to work with. Plus they made the whole experience fun!
