Two weeks ago, I really needed to get out of town. But we didn’t have time or the money to do so…. so I thought, STAYCATION!! Park City is usually my go-to when I have that get-out-of-town bug. Plus, who doesn’t like to get a little Park City Outlet shopping in, right?? 🙂

Our family even decided to take our first trip on the Heber Valley Railroad. And my kids thought it was the coolest thing around!
We ate at Matty’s Bistro (inside the Zermatt) for Breakfast before we headed back home. The kid’s meals include packages of Wiki Stix. So I created fun little glasses for my kids to wear while we waited for our food. The kids thought they were SO cool! Plus, they had Cake Batter Pancakes on the menu— YUM!!
We ended up having the best time on our Staycation and it didn’t cost us nearly as much as a real vacation would. They are the best types of trips because you get re-charged and can possibly do it a few times because it is so affordable.
KSL Deals has a great deal for Zermatt right now. If you wanted to do your own Staycation, you can grab a 1-Night Stay in an Alpine Room for $159. And that price comes with a $50 Resort Credit you can use during your stay. Use it towards their spa, dining or any of the add-on activities they have available there. You only have 7 days left to grab the discounted deal. But you will have until the end of June to actually book and stay at the Zermatt.
And it looks like they have an option to stay at The Homestead Resort for only $129 in a Garden Style Room. It includes at $25 Resort Credit to use during your stay.
I haven’t stayed at The Homestead Resort yet, but I’ve heard it’s fantastic. Plus, you can still do any of the same activities I mentioned above!

The site says the deal is for 2. Do you have to get a different room or pay extra to bring the whole family?

Hey Kim, I actually checked with KSLDeals and they confirmed that 4 people could be in one room. So you can use that deal for sure! If you have more than 4, you will want to check with the hotel first. 🙂
