Reminder! I posted about this freebie a few weeks ago…but thought I should repost it for everyone who missed it! We have already watched one of the movies and the 10 free movie downloads are pretty awesome!
Have some movies that you have wanted to see?? This is a fantastic offer from Target’s Brand New Venture- TargetTicket!
Just register and set up your Free TargetTicket Account. (Just scroll down a bit to see the offer!) If you do so, you will get 10 FREE Digital Movie Downloads! You can watch your movies on PC, Android, or iOS device. It is also now available on the Xbox, Roku, as well as Smart TVs and Blu-Ray Players! So, you can watch your movies on basically anything.
You will need to enter in payment information and set up or link to an UltraViolet account. (It is a cloud storage for online downloads and purchases- it’s free. Sometimes you will purchase a DVD with an Ultra Violet option… that is what this is. You can enter in your Ultra Violet code from inside the DVD and store your movies in the UV account.)
After you have set up your account, you will have until February 22nd, 2014 to redeem your 10 Free Digital Movie Download Rentals. **Please keep in mind that as of today, they only have 30 movies to choose from when picking your 10 free movies. However, there are kid and adult shows.
One thing I am really excited about with TargetTicket is that you can set parental controls with a pin. So you can decide what TV Shows or Movies your kids are allowed to watch. And, if they will need your special pin in order to purchase anything. We definitely don’t want any unauthorized purchases right??
I just set up my account and grabbed our 10 free movies! I grabbed The Tale of Despereaux and FernGully for the kids and movies like Radio, Man on a Ledge and Rudy for me!

If you want Disney’s Monsters University, you can purchase it through TargetTicket EARLY- before the release date! It is $22.99. And it is a digital download version. But if that is what you do anyway, you can have it early for your kids!

Does this mean that we don’t get to KEEP access to the 10 movies? That they are just RENTED for a certain length of time???
When I buy a movie and get the VuDu digital download, it’s forever mine to watch whenever I want. Is this more like a web-based Redbox where you don’t OWN the 10 movies you get free?

Hey Sarah,
When you set up the TargetTicket account, you have until Feb 22nd to go in and pick your 10 Free Digital Movies. But, you get to keep whatever movies you choose, as long as you do so by Feb 22nd.
