Update: Trekaroo had so many people join yesterday that they are only honoring those who created their account before 10:15pm MST last night. Their Rewards Program did not have an expiration date or anything regarding this. So I am pretty bummed they didn’t have a better handle on the type of response they would receive.
So you will not want to sign up for the Trekaroo site now to get started. They will only honor the Reward Program for those who signed up before 10:15 last night and have their reviews written before the 24th.
Reader Camille emailed me about this great site called Trekaroo. Right after you create your account, you have 2 weeks to write a review about activities in your area, places you have travelled to, and more. If you write 10 reviews during that time, you can get a $10 Gift Card to Amazon, Starbucks or REI. Or, if you write 25, you can get a $25 Gift Card to Amazon, Starbucks or REI.
Plus, if you are always sharing your reviews on the site, you can become something called a Superoo. You will get sent Free new products to try out and give your review on. And even get access to special events in your area and all over the country!
After you have written all of your reviews, just shoot an email to editor@trekaroo.com to claim your gift card!

Saralyn: If you signed up with them before Jan 11th at 10:15 pm MST, then your reviews are supposed to be accepted. If you have additional questions, email editor@trekaroo.com. I am frustrated about them changing their referral program as well.
