Budget Friendly Valentine’s Day Ideas

Have a Picnic

When was the last time that you enjoyed a picnic? It’s probably been a while, huh? Sometimes some simple sandwiches and easy foods can be more fun than a five star meal. No need to break the bank to eat in a crowded place, when you can spend next to nothing and enjoy time with your loved one in private.

Go for a Hike

Getting out and moving your body is a great way to improve how you are feeling. It’s invigorating to breathe fresh air and enjoy seeing nature all around you. To share that with your special someone can be very romantic and very fun! Plus, outside of the cost of fuel to get there, it’s basically free to do.

Check out Groupon

Groupon is a great place to find deals on date ideas! You can seriously find some awesome deals there for great meals or things to do.

Go on the 15th

Seriously, Valentine’s Day is great, but it is just a day. And it’s an expensive day and a busy day. Instead, make a date for the 15th. You’ll be surprised by how much money you’ll save and the fact that the crowds will be considerably smaller. (oh and don’t forget about the clearance chocolate!)
