TikTok, Inc. agreed to pay $1.1 million to resolve claims that the app collected children’s personal information without parental consent. If your minor under 13 downloaded the TikTok, or its predecessor Musical.ly apps you may qualify. Exact payment amounts will be determined after the claim form deadline and depends on the number of claims, costs and fees associated with this settlement,but it should be around $10-$15. The Claim Filing deadline is April 16, 2020.
