Spiral ham deals

Hopefully everyone has been able to finish the majority of their Christmas shopping as we approach the week before Christmas. The one thing that is typically left on everyone’s list is Christmas Dinner. Have no idea what a good price-point is for Turkey or Ham??  I’ve got ya covered!

I’ve gone through all the grocery ads for this week and put together a list of the best ADVERTISED prices on hams, spiral hams and turkeys for Christmas dinner. The best prices are highlighted in RED.

However, to give you a rough idea:

  • Look for Spiral Hams in the $1.49- $1.70ish range. (It’s a little higher than our price point from last year.)
  • Turkey’s should be in the $.99- $1.25 per pound range–depending on the brand. More premium brands like Butterball, could be more expensive. But I try to not pay more than $1.50 per pound.

Target:

  • Butterball 10-24lb premium frozen turkey $0.99/pound
  • Archer Farms Spiral Sliced Honey Ham $1.99/pound

Walmart:

  • Sam’s Choice Bone-In Spiral Cut Ham $1.94/pound
  • Half Bone-In Ham $1.54/pound
  • Frozen Bone-In Turkey Breast $1.63/pound

Smith’s (My local Kroger store)

  • Sugardale Spiral-Sliced Ham $1.59/pound
  • Honeysuckle Turkey Breast $1.49/pound

Macey’s:

  • Hormel Bone-In Spiral Half Ham $1.79/pound
  • Farmland Boneless Whole Ham $1.99/pound
  • Cooks Shank Portion Ham $1.19/pound

Fresh Market:

  • Hormel Bone-In Spiral Cut Half Ham $1.79/pound
  • Cooks Shank Portion Ham $1.19/pound
  • Farmland Whole Lean Boneless Ham $1.99/pound
  • John Morell Sugar or On-The-Bone Smokes Ham $4.99/pound

Hope that price point and a handful of advertised prices for Ham & Turkey this week can save you some time & money!  Don’t forget that if you are purchasing other items for your Christmas Dinner, to check the Ibotta App and Checkout51 App.  I’m betting a lot of ingredients or groceries you are purchasing will be on there. On Christmas day we are with my family and don’t like the hassle so we eat appetizers all day and sandwiches from Wal-Mart for dinner. No stress holiday has saved my mother’s sanity and mine for the last 3 years.

  149. When we find a stock up price on ham/turkey, we buy a few, cook them, cut off the meat, & freeze. It saves space in the freezer & is already cooked, cut, and ready to pull out and use! It’s a great money and time saver! We have also tried making turkey jerky which tasted amazing!! So many possibilities!!
