This one is not working at all. I tried a couple of different times.

Make sure you’re logged into your account. It looks like each account will have a different amount attached to it (assuming most will be the $7 off so they don’t go bankrupt 😉 )
Trent
So you have to buy something in order for it to work? Or where do you go?
Heather
Yes, you’ll need to add what you’d like to your cart then enter the code. You’ll receive $7-$7,000 offer your order.

I cannot get the code to work either. I get an error message telling me that the code cannot apply to my purchase and for me to check the code’s rules. I am trying to purchase a $40 blanket. I can get the 7% savings code to work but not the LUCKY7.
tiffany
Me too.

I think it has to be a local deal.. so a restaurant or something. Hope that helps.

I used the code and it said it didn’t work – but it really did! I got a 2-year subscription to Zoo Books for free! 🙂

I tried adding goods, local deals, and everything but it kept saying ‘the code can’t apply to this purchase, check the code’s rules’ How is anyone getting it to work?
Cami
I’m getting the same error code even with local deals of $50+. How do I check the code’s rules?? What does that mean?
Cami
My Groupon page just says to use code BDAY7 to get 7% off up to 3 local deals. I’m not sure how to use the LUCKY7 code instead.
Sarah
I’m having the same issue with the code not working at all. ðŸ™

I just chatted with a Groupon person, and this was our conversation:
[Kristine D] Upon checking, the deal that you are trying to purchase is not a participant of the discount that is why you can not apply this on your purchase.
[Kimberly] How do I know which ones are a participant?
[Kristine D] You will know if the discount will apply upon check out since it will decrease the price.
Okay, so, that’s obvious, but it sounds like you really just have to choose a bunch of deals and see which one it applies to. I personally think that is a very lame way of doing the deal.
Elleny
Yeah ^ not cool.. Melea you should clarify on this post. It’s not working for me either.
Heather
Sorry guys for all the confusion on this deal. The e-mail I received didn’t give much information only what was said in the post. It looks like their “restrictions apply” list was longer than I thought. Hopefully we’ll see another deal that will work better for everyone next time.
