I saw these today on Jane and now I’m pretty sure I need these.  Have any of you seen these before or tried them?  They look amazing!

magic bobby pins

They are Magic Hair Pin Screws that basically keep any messy up-do or bun in-place with a twisting motion with their screw–instead of a straight bobby pin. Right now, while supplies last, they are on sale for $3.99!

Shipping is $2.99 for the first pack.  But if you order more than one, shipping is only $.29 for each additional package you order.

Although I would totally use this on me–I’m also thinking Dance Competitions for my little girl!  It would be nice to put a handful of these pins in instead of 20+ bobby-pins.  Am I right? 😉

  1. They are amazing! They work on my hair and my 4y/o daughters for dance. You can find them at Target or Walmart for basically the same price. And you can find different sizes or colors, depending on what your store carries. I have thicker hair, so I usually use 3-4, but my daughter only needs 2 for her buns.

  2. These are the only things I can keep my long hair up with. I have not tried them on anything other than buns, but I love them!

  3. Do they stay in better than big straight bobby pins?

    • These work much better than bobby pins for buns and updo’s. Love them!

  4. I have. They are good. It helps if you have one hair length otherwise you have hair that sticks out. I do like them cause I have thick hair and bobbypins tend to fling out of my hair if not in just right.

  5. I use these all the time on my girls. You can buy them super cheap directly from china (free shipping), but they would take several weeks to arrive.

  6. Love these!! I have them in my hair right now! Have used them for a few years. They stay in way better than bobby pins, I even had to have my husband help me get them out once or twice cuz I couldn’t get them out! Haha I buy the blonde colored ones and they don’t show up in my hair. Best find ever!

  7. I absolutely LOVE these! I have such thick hair, and regular bobby pins were always falling out when I’d try and do a messy bun. These work like a charm 🙂

  11. Yep, got a 2 pack at Wal Mart a few years ago and use them daily. I do still have to use a few of the long bobby pins, too, but these twirly things are wonderful.

  12. We use them in our house a lot. They work great with my daughters buns. She has long, straight, fine, all one length hair. We found our 2 pack at the dollar store a few years ago.
