  1. I’m trying to plan a trip for my family in August. I have 2 daughters, ages 5 and 2. I’m going back and forth between what we could get the most out of, Disneyland or Legoland. Any recommendations from anyone on what would be a better experience for my little ones?

  2. Hi Cortney,
We took our 2 young children to Disneyland and they had a great time. It is super crowded, but it’s magical. I have boys, but for the girls they have all the princess things which are usually a hit. Legoland we haven’t been, but are going in the fall along with Disneyland again. I’ve heard Legoland is a lot less crowded, so you get to ride more rides in a day. But there isn’t as much “magic”. We will see though this fall. I too am interested to see how it is. Good luck!

  3. We have been to Legoland twice and are going again this fall. There are lots of things to do for small kids. A simple boat ride through fairy tale scenes created out of Legos, cars they can drive, interactive water features, mini fig play area. We are Lego fans so my kids love seeing the displays and whole cities made of Legos. There are also thrill rides- roller coasters. We also love the apple pie fries. My teen will have fun but my 6 and 8 yr old will have the most fun. We go off season so there are rarely long lines. The month of October is also “Kids are Free” month in San Diego. Legoland is one of the locations that kids get in free during that month.

  5. Ok. link wasn’t working for me before but is now. Also looks like Kids are Free to Legoland and the zoo and Sea World in October with a paying adult. Sweet!
