  1. I did this a few times and it won’t add to my collection. The small fine print at the bottom of the ad says *connection for the first time with any participating provider required. So I guess you need to open an account with someone new to get it if you already have had a vudu or itunes account like me!

    • I connected Amazon this time to get it to work. So maybe it is worth connecting an account you don’t really use because it will give you the movie on ALL of your connected accounts. Or I wonder if you could disconnect one of them and reconnect them to get it to work??

      • no i tried that, it didn’t work.

  3. No matter what I do, I can’t get it to connect to iTunes, and I have never connected my Disney account with iTunes. I’ve tried signing out of iTunes and the linking over. I’ve linked over with me signed into iTunes. I don’t want to link to my Google Play as I don’t want my son to have to have access to my Google Play account. He has an iPad and iPod, so that is where I want these available. Someone said that once you connect via one provider, you could share across all your providers, i.e., connect to iTunes but share it across Google Play, etc., is that true?

  4. Thanks you! It worked to my iTunes and Amazon account. At first the screen never left the connect your accounts screen after connecting accounts, but when I checked iTunes and Amazon Monsters, Inc. was downloaded.

  5. I got it to appear in disney movies but it’s not showing up in my itunes account. Do I have to do something to get it to go into itunes?

    • I’m having the same issue. It shows in My Collection on the Disney site, but nothing I do gets it to connect iTunes. I was able to connect to Google Play and it shows in my movies on there. Guess I will have to just be stuck letting my kid use my tablet to watch it. I even updated my iTunes since there was an updated version I had not downloaded and no luck ðŸ™

    • If it is showing up in Disney Movies and your accounts are linked, then go to iTunes Store—> Movies —-> Purchased (right hand column under “Movies Quick Links”) It should show up right there! You can then download it to your device, or just stream it from the cloud. 🙂 Hope that helps!

  6. I give up on iTunes unless anyone has any other tips to try. I’ve updated iTunes, signed out, signed in, etc. I get no prompts to do anything other than to download the iTunes program when I link from the Disney add account page and it takes me to the iTunes webpage (not the actual app).

  7. I finally got it to work in iTunes! It wouldn’t show up at first, even when I checked for available downloads. Here’s what you do…Click on your name/account at the top right of your iTunes next to the search bar. Select “Family Purchases.” On the top right side there are options for music, movies, TV, etc. Cluck movies. Monsters should show up in that list. There is a cloud in the top right corner of the monsters picture. Click it and it will download to your movies!

    • Yes that worked! Thanks so much!

    • I don’t have “family purchases.” When I click on the account name, in the drop down menu I have wish list, purchased, redeemed, and under purchases -> movies, it only shows the 3 movies that I actually purchased directly from iTunes. So, I can only surmise that for whatever reason, it is not allowing the iTunes account to link.

  9. Just wanted to say that I finally got iTunes to connect, but it has to be done on an iOS supported device, which my desktop apparently is not considered such since it isn’t an Apple product. That information was buried in Disneymoviesanywhere.com’s support page when it was finally back up where I could access it.
