Capital One 360 (Formerly ING DIRECT) is offering up to a $500 BONUS when you open your very first FEE-FREE 360 Savings Account with a minimum $5,000 deposit. This deposit minimum is higher than what they have done in the past, but they are also offering you a lot more bonus cash for depositing more money. So if you have a great savings account started at another bank, you can transfer your money over. This bonus cash will definitely be handy to have!
You have to have the account set up by 11:59 pm EST 9/30/15, here’s how:
- Head over and create a FEE-FREE 360 Savings Account.
- To qualify for a bonus, you will need to deposit at least $5,000 into a new 360 savings account. Your account must be funded within the first 10 days of account opening. Deposits from an existing Capital One 360 account will not qualify for the bonus.
- Details: The amount of your bonus will be determined based on the highest amount you deposit within the first 10 days of account opening and maintaining that balance on a daily basis for the next 90 days following the 10 day period. You must deposit a minimum of $5,000 and maintain a daily balance of $5,000 for 90 days after the initial 10 day period to qualify for any bonus. The amount of the bonus you actually earn will be determined based on the following balance tiers during the initial 10 day period and the 90 day period after that: $5,000+ earns a $50 bonus, $10,000+ earns a $100 bonus; $20,000+ earns a $200 bonus; $30,000+ earns a $300 bonus; $40,000+ earns a $400 bonus; and $50,000+ earns a $500 bonus. The maximum bonus you can earn is $500.
No matter how much money you have to put into a Savings account, an extra $50 – $500 in BONUS cash (depending on how much you deposit) could be a great start for your Christmas fund or a Vacation fund!
**This deal is only for first-time 360 Savings customers. (Note: If you have had a savings product with ING Direct before you won’t be eligible). If you have a 360 Checking Account, but not the 360 Savings Account, you still qualify for the promotion. (However, remember that you CANNOT transfer money from an existing 360 Checking Account into your brand new 360 Savings Account and still qualify for the bonus.)
Capital One 360 will deposit the bonus money into your account within 10-15 days following the 90-day period. And once they are deposited, the money will be available immediately.
