IMPORTANT UPDATE:  Guys, PLEASE read the entire post.

I don’t add details or fine print for myself, I do that for you so you know exactly what is included in any freebie or deal that gets shared on Freebies2Deals.  When this post first went up, it noted at the bottom that not all locations were participating and to call ahead.  But I have had many comments on this post with readers either frustrated or embarrassed that they went to Chick-fil-A and their store was not doing this promotion.  I definitely don’t want that to happen to you and that wasn’t my intention with this post.  So please make sure you read the entire post and fine print so you know if deals are available Nationwide or just in certain areas.  I’ve updated the warning text below to red.  Hopefully that will help with future posts where there might be any confusion.  Thanks!

      • What about nurses week…geeez we save lives and make a difference in the world and do not get recognized for any of it. We are the most respected profession but rarely get even an acknowledgement.

        Reply
        • Without teachers, you wouldn’t be a nurse. 🙂

          Reply
          • Actually, not totally true. Women and sometimes men in the beginning of nursing used what skills they had developed from their mother’s. It was a helping service. And most nursing teachers are nurses. Nurses, not doctors are responsible for beginning to wash hands before delivering babies. So many teachers owe their lives to the fact that the nurses and midwives washed their hands. Doctors were taught that by watching the high survival rate of babies born by midwives who washed their hands.

    • People read this Chick-fil-A Food stinks! It’s cheap and disgusting food….

  6. This is false. Each Chick-fil-A location has their own unique marketing plan. This is not a national campaign, nor market-wide. Always call your favorite Chick-fil-A location to verify anything you see circulating on the web. Thank you! 🙂

    • Tara: Not all Chick-fil-A locations participate in things like this. But I do like to post about them in case a location near you is. So in the post, I will always put to call your location before you go. Hopefully you saw that blurb in the post. Thanks!!

      • It would be best to just take this down.
If you do decide advertise for something about your local chick fil a it would be better to use their store name versus just saying chick fil a.

Most chick fil as are independently ran and owned and run their own promotions.

  7. This is false. I went tonight to get a sandwich while my daughter was at dance class and they said they were not participating in it. They said if we bought lunch boxes that they would deliver free to the school. So be careful if you go. I think they need to be more specific and not post this unless they will honor it every where, someone could get mad and call false advertising or something. Just make sure before you go this week.

It will always say whether every store is participating or if it only at participating stores. Hope that clears up any confusion! Thanks!

  9. I am an employee of Chick-fil-A Corporate, and unfortunately this is a fabricated offer. For future reference, Chick-fil-A actually never posts or partners with any third party coupon or promotional sites like this. Also, we almost never host chain-wide campaigns. You can always check your local Chick-fil-A’s social media sites for local promotions. However, we whole-heartedly appreciate teachers, nurses, and any other individuals who work hard to positively impact the community.

    • Hey Sarah, Thanks for your comment. 🙂 I actually partner with Chick-fil-A on a regular basis for offers and even giveaways for their newest products on a regular basis. Although this offer was not from corporate, a lot of people had mentioned that something similar was happening at their location. In the post, you will notice that it says to call-ahead to make sure your location is participating. Not sure if people didn’t read the whole post or missed it. So I just highlighted it in red so everyone will know to call ahead and that every store is NOT participating. Hopefully that helps any confusion! Thanks!

      • It’s really disconcerting that so many teachers clearly don’t read carefully. You’ve repeated yourself numerous times, and you very clearly stated the need to call ahead. Smh

        • That should be “you”, not “you’ve”.

    • Hey Danielle, Sorry for any confusion. At the bottom of the post, I put that you will need to call ahead because not every store will be participating. I hoped that everyone would read the full post for details, but to make sure I’ve updated that sentence in RED so other’s won’t miss it. Sorry again!

  13. It says very clearly, “Utah only” up at the top, right hand corner.

  14. This should be taken down. There are hardly any locations honoring it. It is basically fraud against CFA as people go in expecting something for nothing and are very rude when told it is not a promotion.

    • John, please make sure you read the entire post with the details. The post does state that this offer IS NOT available nationwide and to call ahead before you go to your local Chick-fil-A to see if they are participating.

  15. This is false.

  16. Wow, it very plainly states to call ahead before you go. Check for your local participation before going off on the post you didn’t read or the instructions you didn’t follow.

FYI- DeSoto County, Mississippi area locations are delivering certificates for free sandwiches to the local schools. The Southaven location is also asking for students and parents to nominate their favorite teacher. Here are the details:

It’s easy simple, nominate your favorite teacher by emailing the name of your favorite teacher and your name and contact information and the reason why you are nominating your favorite teacher. Email your nomination to dalexander.cfa@gmail.com. The winner will be announced and awarded with the special gift from Chick-fil-A Southaven on Monday, May 9.

  18. Do you ever honor nurses??? This week is Nurse Appreciation week, just an FYI!

  19. You do Chick-Fil-A’s a huge disservice by posting these offers and promotions. Each location is independently owned. Most Operators can’t execute these promotions and then it causes them much waste of labor and resources by having to take phone calls, explaining why they aren’t doing the special, and have to take verbal harassment by cutomers who are upset if they don’t do the promotion. While all Chick-fil-A’s most definitely love their community Teachers, they also love Nurses, Adminsyratice Professionals, Police, etc. basically s their customer regardless of profession. It’s unfair to expect that they give freebies for all ‘Appeciation Weeks or Days’.
Every store has s way to advertise and promote the things they want their store and community to be involved in. Id say it should be left to each store to promote their own specials.

  23. Shame on Chick-Fil-A for not considering students. The student is the one that should be celebrated. Very few teachers deserve an appreciation day. Most want their money, and care nothing about the student’s time.
