I haven’t posted about Survey sites in a while.  So I thought I would remind all of you and let the newbies know how to make some cash at home.  These are all LEGIT sites that other F2D readers use to help them earn a little money on the side.  But, I have readers who actually do this all year long and pay for their entire Christmas just by using the money they’ve made from these Survey companies!!  How awesome is that??

If you want to earn a little side cash, you will want to sign up for as many of the Survey Companies as you can.  They all send out surveys at different times and if you are working with a bunch of them, you will always have surveys coming in that you can do.  Take the surveys when your kids are napping or in your spare time and start saving your cash for Christmas!

PLEASE NOTE: The surveys listed below are companies that other F2D readers have said they use and love. Any that haven’t been that great were taken off this list long ago.  **If you know of any other awesome survey companies I should add to this list and can vouch for it, please leave a comment and let me know!

Here is the current list of Survey companies that have openings:

  • My Survey (Just opened up spots again!):
  • Minds Pay (Just Opened Up Spots Again!):
  • Inbox Pays (This one is brand new and I haven’t tried it out yet.  So if you have, please let us know what you think in the comments!)
  • Pinecone Research:  This is one of the favorites of F2D Readers and it’s back!  Earn at least $3 on each and every survey you do!
  • Opinion Outpost: Earn Cash or Amazon Gift Cards. Everyone who does surveys is automatically entered to win a $10,000 Cash Prize.
  • Toluna:  Earn $1-$5 per Survey.  Plus, they have sent out FREE full-size products in the past for members to review! Upcoming products to review include Nivea Products, Makeup and more!  They will mail you these products in return for taking a survey about what you think.  Then, you get to keep the products.  It’s awesome!
  • Inbox Dollars has spots open: You will get paid to take surveys and do other things.
  • Vindale Research: You can review products and take online surveys.  And they will pay you for your time!
  • Valued Opinions: You can earn free stuff and rewards just by taking time each week to take the surveys. You can get up to $5.00 per survey you qualify for and take.

  1. Swagbucks has been my favorite to use. It has surveys but, also has other ways to earn too. I have paid for Christmas for 3 years in a row now with amazon gift cards.

  2. I have tried most of these and moms, your time is way more valuable than this. For example the other day I had to take a survey to see if I even qualified for their survey. Surprise, surprise I didn’t, although I’m pretty sure the qualifier was the actual survey. I was awarded ten points for seeing if I qualify. 10,000 points earns you a $10 Amazon gift card. So yep, you’re earning about ten cents an hour!

  3. One that isn’t listed on here is mturk.com (amazon’s creation). The earnings are always different per day but I earn anywhere from $2-$15 per hour

  4. I just want to say that Pinecone Research is definitely worth doing! I’m on about year 3 or so and it’s so nice for the little bit of extra cash. You never have to qualify for a survey, they only send you ones you will actually do and get paid for. They do send out a couple “Household Questions” per month that take about 2 min and just ask questions so they know what survey’s apply to you. I usually get around 4 survey’s per month, which is $12. They take about 5 min to complete. You can request payment after every survey or build it up. I usually wait a few months and then request my check. $50 every few months for a few minutes of my time is so worth it! Also, they will send you things to try out, and then you do a follow up survey and get paid for that one too! I’ve tried toilet paper, food items, toothbrush, baby bottles, cleaning supplies, and more! We don’t have any extra money after bills each month, so I love to take this and do something fun with my husband and little guy. Just wanted everyone to know that this is a great one to try out!

    • Maybe someone knows the answer to this since I’ve never done surveys before. I always thought you earned gift cards as compensation, but Courtney mentioned that she got paid by check. Does that mean you are an employee who will be issued a W2 at the end of the year. Just askin’ since tax season just ended and I’m not sure I’m interested enough to be bothered with another W2 for the nominal amount I might be motivated to earn. Thanks to anyone who might have the answer!

      • Emily, it depends on the company. Some you turn in your points for gift cards, others you’ll get a check in the mail. I read in the fine print on one of my survey companies that you have to be earning more than $600 a year to get a W2 from them.

  5. Pinecone Research is great, like Courtney said up above. I love that you always qualify for their surveys.

Opinion Outpost is ok, they send surveys often and have a decent point amount per survey.

Valued Opinions is ok, they send surveys often as well, but a lot of them are more time consuming surveys.

Toluna is not that great. I’ve only qualified for a couple of their surveys.

Vindale Research is terrible. Most of their surveys you only get 75 cents, and you’re spending at least 20 minutes completing them. A huge waste of time if you ask me. I once saw a survey offered from them that was 45 minutes long, and you only got 25 cents. Um, no thanks.
